摘要: A method described herein includes receiving data that identifies a web page, wherein the data that identifies the web page is desirably displayed to a first individual and resolving the web page to generate a markup language document, wherein the markup language document comprises unstructured data. The method also includes extracting portions of the markup language document and generating a structured data object, wherein the structured data object includes the portions of the markup language document. The method further includes causing a summary of the web page to be displayed to the first individual, wherein the summary of the web page is based at least in part upon the structured data object.

摘要: Within a social network, a user may establish a set of contacts who share with the user various content items and comments related thereto. However, these content items are often hosted by a content source outside of the social network, and the user may have to transition to the content source to view the content item, and then transition back to the social network to submit a comment. Instead, a device may monitor the social network to record shared content items. When the user requests a presentation of the content source, notifications of the content items hosted by the content source that have been shared with the user, including an identifier of the contact sharing the content item with the user (e.g., a depiction or avatar representation of the contact and a link to a social profile of the contact) may be included in the presentation.

摘要: A user attempting to obtain information about an object can capture image information including a view of that object, and the image information can be used with a matching or identification process to provide information about that type of object to the user. In order to narrow the search space to a specific category, and thus improve the accuracy of the results and the speed at which results can be obtained, the user can be guided to capture image information with an appropriate orientation. An outline or other graphical guide can be displayed over image information captured by a computing device, in order to guide the user in capturing the object from an appropriate direction and with an appropriate scale for the type of matching and/or information used for the matching. Such an approach enables three-dimensional objects to be analyzed using conventional two-dimensional identification algorithms, among other such processes.

摘要: The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for isolating the evaluation of actual test results against expected test results from the test module that generates the actual test results. A results evaluation sub-system receives actual test results resulting from the execution of a test in a test environment. A results retrieval sub-system receives environmental data indicating that a test was performed in the test environment. The results retrieval sub-system selects one or more expected results from a results database based on the received environmental data. The results retrieval sub-system sends the selected one or more expected results to the results evaluation sub-system. The results evaluation sub-system receives the one or more selected results. The results evaluation sub-system evaluates the actual test results against the one or more expected results to determine if the test was successful.

摘要: Methods, systems, and computer program products for testing software components without explicitly having to specify each test or test environment. A computer system for automated testing loads and parses and test file. The test file contains code sections that identify software components to test, locations sections that identify locations to run the software components, an expandable variation section that associates the software components with locations, and an expansion section that defines rules for expanding the expandable variation section. From the expandable variation section, the computer system creates expanded variation sections that associate particular software components with particular locations. Then, for each particular software component and locations, the computer system executes setup instructions to prepare for running the particular software component, executes the particular software component, and executes cleanup instructions. The test file may conform to one or more eXtensible Markup Language (XML) schemas.
