Abstract:
A safety cabinet has a box body having an open front side, a pair of doors hinged to the body and pivotal between closed positions closing the front side and open positions exposing the open front side, and a shelf slidable between an in position wholly contained in the body behind the open front side and an out position projecting forward at least partially from the open front side. A guide is provided on the shelf extending at an acute angle to the pullout direction, and an arm connected to one of the doors rides in the guide so that moving the one door into the respective open position pulls the drawer into the out position. A link connects the other door at least indirectly to the guide for pulling the other door into the respective open position on movement of the one door into the respective open position.
Abstract:
A safety cabinet has a body, a pair of doors each pivotal on the body about a respective axis between an open position and a closed position, respective spaced outer guides on the body juxtaposed with the doors, and respective elements displaceable along the guides and coupled to the doors for movement between outer positions when the respective doors are in the open position and inner positions when the respective doors are in the closed positions. A catch between the guides is engageable with the elements and shiftable therewith. A spring also between the guides is engaged between the catch and the body and biases the catch inward toward engagement with the elements. A release device secured between the catch and the body normally holds the catch in an outer position with the spring in a tensioned condition but can release the catch and thereby push the elements with the catch into their inner position to close the doors.
Abstract:
A cabinet has a body having an open side and two doors each comprised by an outer panel and an inner panel. The panels are pivotal between a closed position in which they are all generally coplanar and cover the open side with the inner panels between the outer panels and an open position giving access to the open side. A respective actuating mechanism for each door has an actuating element defining first, second, and third pivot points and pivoted on the body at the respective first pivot point and a pusher pivoted on the respective second pivot point and having a pair of arms with outer ends connected to the respective doors. A rigid connector extends between the third pivot points at all times across a line extending between the first pivot points.
Abstract:
A device (10) for applying adhesive to the ribbed side of corrugated cardboard (16), wherein the device (10) comprises a nozzle (15) which discharges liquid adhesive while the ribbed side of the corrugated cardboard moves past at a distance (A) below the nozzle (15). The distance (A) can be adjusted in such a way that adhesive is only applied to the ribbed side in the upper region of the ribs.
