摘要： A device for cardboard storage and removal for a bridge in a corrugated cardboard production line includes a bridge over which a conveyor system for conveying the single-sided laminated corrugated cardboard web is arranged. The exit end of the conveyor system for conveying the single-sided laminated corrugated cardboard web is provided with a clamping and cutting unit and a movable cardboard storage carriage unit is provided under the conveyor system for conveying the single-sided laminated corrugated cardboard web, under which conveyor system a conveyor belt system is provided in the bridge, and in the bridge an opening is provided, under which a waste cardboard collecting carriage is provided. The movable cardboard storage carriage unit stores the cardboard by means of cardboard storage rolls, which retain the single-sided laminated corrugated cardboard web flat on the bridge. In the event that a splicing defect is detected, the defective piece is cut out by the clamping and cutting unit and ejected by the conveyor belt system to the waste cardboard collecting carriage through the opening. Hence, it follows that productivity is improved.

摘要： A device for gluing of a double facer includes a glue bath containing glue; a gluing roll immersed in and coated with the glue; a doctor roll adjusting the glue on the gluing roll to a predetermined thickness, transferred to a single faced corrugated cardboard; a swing roll disposed at an upstream portion of a transferring direction of the corrugated cardboard; and a moving device that moves the swing roll in a direction that the single faced corrugated cardboard is wrapped around the gluing roll. The swing roll is wrapped around the single faced corrugated cardboard, and the number of flute tips of the single faced corrugated cardboard that are concurrently contacting with the gluing roll and applied with the glue is adjusted by moving only the swing roll in such a direction that crosses a sheet face of the single faced corrugated cardboard passing through the nip.

摘要： A method for automatically setting the rider roll/glue applicator roll gap for the single face web on a glue machine senses a forward drag that the single face web, operating at corrugator speed, exerts on the glue applicator roll, driven at an underspeed, after bringing the flute tips of the single face web into contact with the glue applicator roll by adjusting the position of the rider roll. Changes in forward drag exerted on the glue applicator roll are monitored and related directly to glue applicator roll drive current to provide a slight compression of the single face web between the rider roll and the glue applicator roll. Preferably, the glue applicator roll uses a regenerative drive and the target drive current command in a feedback control system to cause the gap to be adjusted to achieve the desired slight compression of the web flutes and to maintain the glue applicator roll under speed.
