    摘要: A mobile station, an access point, a gateway apparatus, a base station, and a handshake method thereof for use in a wireless network framework are provided. The wireless network framework comprises a first wireless network comprising the access point, and a second wireless network comprising the gateway apparatus and base station. There is an IP security tunnel between the access point and the gateway apparatus. When the mobile station handovers from the first wireless network to the second wireless network, it transmits a master session key to the gateway apparatus via the access point and the IP security tunnel. Additionally, when the mobile station handovers from the second wireless network to the first wireless network, it transmits a master session key to the access point. As a result, the authentication time, which is needed in handover procedure between the first wireless network and the second wireless network, is reduced effectively.

A 2n-point FFT processor having an input and an output is provided. Sequentially, a multiplexer, which has a first input coupled to the output of the 21 point FFT processor, a second input receiving a 2n point data and an output coupled to the input of the 2n point FFT processor, is provided. When an input data is a 2n point data, the second input of multiplexer is coupled to the output thereof, and when an input data is a 2n+1 point data, the first input of multiplexer is coupled to the output thereof.

    摘要: A contention window adjustment method capable of load-adaptive backoff (LAB) function in a network. At least one middle contention window (CWmid) is set for a station. If the contention window (CW) of a station is greater than CWmid, then that station considers that the network traffic load is heavy. Similarly, if the CW value of a station is no more than CWmid, then that station considers that the network traffic load is light. If collisions occur when the station is transmitting data frames, CW is doubled. Once the station successfully transmits the data frame, CW is decreased by different ratios according to the network traffic load.
