摘要： A magazine for holding a series of rounds of ammunition and including a spring pressed follower for yieldingly urging a series of rounds toward an upper end of a hollow magazine body, with a holding element connected to the follower for upward and downward movement therewith and for movement relative thereto between an active position for locking the follower in a lower setting to facilitate loading of rounds into the upper end of the magazine body and a released position permitting spring induced upward movement of the follower. The holding element may be actuable between its locking and released positions by rotary movement relative to the follower, and/or by generally horizontal sliding movement of the holding element relative to the follower. The holding element is preferably accessible through slots at two opposite sides of the magazine body in a relation enabling the actuating element to be gripped very effectively between the thumb and forefinger of a user's hand for positive controlled actuation between holding and released positions.

摘要： A gun magazine including a magazine body for holding a series of rounds of ammunition, and a floor plate at the lower end of the magazine body detachable therefrom by generally horizontal sliding movement relative to the body, with the floor plate preferably containing a recess extending downwardly into the floor plate beneath the lower extremity of the magazine body and into which the main ammunition follower spring projects downwardly. The floor plate may be connected to the magazine body loosely, in a manner enabling slight upward and downward shifting movement of the plate relative to body, and be provided with locking means for blocking lateral separation of the floor plate from the magazine body but adapted to be released to permit such separation by a slight shifting movement of the floor plate against the tendency of the main follower spring. The follower itself which is urged upwardly by that spring, to advance the ammunition upwardly, is releasably retained in a lower position by a spring pressed latching element to facilitate loading of rounds into the magazine.

摘要： A recoil pad for a shoulder gun such as a rifle or shotgun, including a body of elastomeric cushioning material to be received between the buttstock of the gun and a user'shoulder, and an insert member formed of a material harder than the elastomeric material and embedded within a recess in the back of the elastomeric body near its upper end. The pad may also include an attachment plate secured to the front of the elastomeric body. The insert member has a rear surface which engages the user's clothing at a location above an aligned rear surface of the elastomeric body, to reduce the friction at the location of the insert and facilitate sliding of the recoil pad upwardly adjacent the clothing to firing position. The elastomeric body has a portion extending upwardly in front of the harder insert to be received between that insert and the buttstock of the gun and cushion the transmission of recoil forces from the gun to the insert.

摘要： A grip assembly for a gun having a downwardly projecting handle, which assembly includes two body panels to be received at opposite sides of the handle, and a grip unit having two side panels at outer sides of the body panels and a forward portion connecting the grip panels in front of the handle. The grip panels are preferably connected to the body panels by two screws and nuts. A third screw extends through an opening in one of the body panels, to hold it in place, and is desirably at a location to be covered by the corresponding grip panel. The third screw may be engageable with a third nut which is carried by the other body panel and is at a location to be covered by the other grip panel.

摘要： A holster having a body molded of an elastomeric material, with that body being doubled back along a fold region essentially midway between two opposite edges of the molded body, and with those edges then being secured together by rivets or the like to define a gun receiving recess between front and rear panels of the holster. The rear panel contains a passage through which a belt extends for supporting the device from the belt. The two connected edges of the elastomeric body preferably have flanges projecting toward one another and connectable together, and which interfit to locate the flanges relative to one another. A gun may be retained in the holster by two flaps projecting upwardly from the front and rear panels and connectable together. The rear flap is preferably thicker and stiffer than the front flap, and desirably each of the flaps is slightly thicker and stiffer than the panel from which it projects upwardly. Internally, the panels may have inner ribs or projections shaped essentially in correspondence with a particular gun for which the holster is designed.
