摘要： A corrugated plastic box is disclosed. The box is provided with an L-shaped or chair-shaped end panel which can be adhesively secured to a box side panel. The end panel has a lower portion which extends over a relatively great number of box side corrugations, and an upper panel portion which extends over fewer box side corrugations, so as to spread interior box loads across a number of corrugations and inhibit box side bowing. The box sides are also strengthened by providing upper panels which are rolled over along the top edges of the box, the panels are then food or otherwise fastened to the side panels. The rolled-over top edges thus formed strengthen the box, and prevent the entry of contaminants into the otherwise-exposed side panel corrugation flutes. The box is provided with a number of specially shaped box bottom panels which enable the box to be quickly and easily erected by even inexperienced personnel. After the box has been emptied, the box can be quickly and easily knocked flat and returned to a box filling point for reuse. Considerable labor and box material savings can be realized.

摘要： A pre-folded file bottom box form, a method of creating the box form, and a box created from the form. The box form is created from a unitary blank of corrugated material that is die cut and creased so as to form a series of interconnected panels arranged in three rows that each include four panels. A first row has four panels that each end up in the box as a reinforcing end wall or sidewall panel; each of these panels are separated by a narrow gap. A middle row includes four panels that each end up in the box as a box end wall or sidewall panel; each of these panels is contiguous with one panel of the second row. There is a crease located between each of the middle row panels, and between each of them and the first row panel that is contiguous with it. A third row, coupled to the second row, includes first and second bottom panels and two end-wall reinforcing panels. The first and second bottom panels are each contiguous with one of the panels of the second row with a crease located between them. The end-wall reinforcing panels are contiguous with the first bottom panel with a crease located between each of them and the first bottom panel.

The blank (10) includes a first row (A) with four panels (32, 34, 36 and 38) that end up in the box as reinforcing sidewall and end wall panels, a middle row (B) contiguous with the first row (A) and having four panels (20, 24, 28 and 40) that end up in the box as sidewall and end wall panels, and a third row (C) coupled to the second row (B) and including first (16) and second (18) panels and two flaps (12, 14), the first (16) and second (18) panels making up the bottom of the box and the two flaps (12, 14) contiguous with the first third-row panel (16) and making up portions of the two end-walls. The four panels of the first row (A) are folded onto the four panels of the second row (B). The blank is then folded along two of the fold lines (42, 44) located between columns, and the edges (24, 26) of the end panels (30, 20) of the middle row (B) are fastened together, to create the completed form (80).
