摘要： An undergarment includes at least one panel of stretchable loop material. The panel of stretchable loop material is connected to a main body of the undergarment such that it can stretch around one side of wearer's waist or hip. The stretchable loop material is configured such that it can releasably connect to a plurality of engaging elements. The engaging elements can be hooks of a hook and loop fastening system. The undergarment is configured such that it can be easily concealed beneath clothing and can be easily positioned and removed by a wearer. A method of disposing an undergarment includes rolling or folding the main body of the undergarment and tying panels of stretchable loop material around the rolled or folded portion to encase the rolled or folded portion between the panels of stretchable loop material.

摘要： An undergarment, such as a diaper, includes a hidden central core pocket for receipt of an absorbent pad. The pocket is formed between an inner, fluid permeable layer and a fluid isolation layer. The fluid isolation layer is attached to the inner or anchor layer and is located between the inner layer and an outer layer to which the inner layer is attached. The pocket is narrower than the outer to isolate fluids from edges of the outer layer and from diaper leg openings. Both the fluid isolation layer and the outer layer may be fluid resistant to provide additional protection against leakage. Adjustment fasteners on the outside of the outer shell permit size adjustment for the diaper and the adjustment fasteners are positioned within the periphery of the pocket so that presence of the absorbent pad will enhance comfort.

摘要： Various embodiments of a diaper adapter to fit adults as well as infants up to three years of age comprise absorbent material having an inner surface adapted to contact the user and an outer surface. Tabs carrying a filamentary type attachment material extend from the corners at one end of the diaper. At the opposite end, an elongated bar of a complementary filamentary type attachment material is on the inner surface of the diaper and parallel to the end. The bar, termed a "frontal movable fastening bar", is front folded onto the outer surface of the diaper and moved longitudinally toward the middle of the diaper until the proper length for the user is established. Side portions of the diaper are optionally folded to the proper width and the tabs are pulled around the waist and coupled to the bar.

摘要： A diaper (10) according to the invention comprises a conventional, rectangular washable diaper form (12) with opposite inner and outer surfaces (10a, 10b). A pair of attachment tabs (15) each secured to an upper corner of the fabric (12) engage fastening strips (20) secured to the outer surface of the fabric adjacent a lower edge thereof. The fastening strips (20) are elongated and are vertically oriented for adjustable, mating engagement with the attachment tabs (15) to accommodate growth of the infant. The lower edge portion (24) carrying the fastening strips (20) can be folded onto the inner surface (10a) to expose a second elongated fastening strip (25) attachable to tabs (15) to provide a smaller diaper for newborn infants. The backband (30) reinforces the area of attachment of tabs (15) to the diaper form (12). Protective strip portions (50) are provided in several embodiments to cover the hook-bearing attachment surfaces (15a, 19) of the tabs to prevent lint accumulation during washing. A templet (60) is disclosed enabling the conventional diaper (12) to be modified to the diaper (10) of the invention.

摘要： A tailored diaper or diaper cover is constructed of a waterproof diaper shell enclosing an elongated sling of waterproof material having its upper and lower ends attached to, and its opposite sides free and floating on, the shell. A fluid absorbent pad on the inner surface of the sling is circumscribed by the waterproof material of the sling so as to establish a channel to entrap and isolate fluid from the shell. The lines of attachment between the waterproof and fluid absorbent materials at the upper and lower ends of the sling are arcuate, and the periphery of the sling is covered by elastic trim, causing the sling and pad to cup the pubis of a user when the diaper is worn. Entrapment of fluid within the sling may be enhanced by jell pad inserts. A washable pad of novel "butterfly" construction within the diaper or diaper cover enhances fluid absorption and drying. Another aspect of this invention provides embodiments of a tailored urinal for men, having a novel fluid containment bag and adapted to reside within underwear.

The main body has a top sheet and a liquid-impermeable back sheet formed from polypropylene. The main body also has a front portion, a rear portion, and a crotch portion, and each of the front and rear portions has a top edge. The undergarment also has first and second elastic extensions each having a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal ends of the first and second extensions are ultrasonically bonded to the main body. The undergarment further has first and second attachment areas, each having a plurality of engaging elements, secured to the liquid permeable top sheet. The engaging elements engage with the first and second elastic extensions to secure the undergarment at least about 0.5 inches below said wearer's waist.
