Abstract: A method and system of designing control logic for an avionics system, the method and system including receiving a function requirement defining a desired control logic for the desired control system, designing, by a user in a user interface (UI) of a toolset, the desired control logic comprising an arrangement of predefined library blocks to enable the functional requirement in the desired control system, and generating, by the toolset, a data file representative of the desired control logic to enable the functional requirement during run-time operation in the avionics system.

Abstract: One example aspect of the present disclosure relates to a method for receiving input. The method can include receiving, by one or more processors, data indicative of finger placement on a three dimensional knob that is associated with a parameter. The method can include determining, by the one or more processors, a height associated with the data indicative of finger placement. The method can include determining, by the one or more processors, a gain associated with the parameter based on the height. The method can include receiving, by the one or more processors, a signal indicative of an adjustment to the parameter. The method can include causing, by the one or more processors, an adjustment to the parameter based on the determined gain and the signal indicative of an adjustment to the parameter.

Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling power distribution are provided. More particularly, in one embodiment, a method can include monitoring a first plurality of electrical characteristics for each power source of a plurality of power sources. The plurality of power sources can include a first generator, a second generator, an auxiliary power source, and an external power source. The method can include monitoring a second plurality of electrical characteristics for each bus of a plurality of buses. The plurality of buses can include a first electrical bus, a second electrical bus, and an electrical tie bus. The method can further include selectively controlling a power distribution of the plurality of power sources among the plurality of buses based, at least in part, on the first and second pluralities of electrical characteristics.

Abstract: A switch module includes a first single-throw switch having a first input terminal 20 switchable to a common terminal. A second single-throw switch has a second input terminal switchable to the common terminal. A first control is coupled to the first single-throw switch and a second control is coupled to the second single-throw switch. The first and second controls are configured to independently control, respectively, the first and second single-throw switches.
