Abstract: A sheet material which comprises in combination: a backing sheet and a layer of a cured, flexible, elastomeric, cellular-urethane resin securely and directly bonded to one surface of the backing sheet, the urethane resin containing in combination a silicone fluid surfactant in an amount to aid in uniform cell structure, a catalyst to control the rate of cure, and from about 0.1 to 5.0 percent by weight of a moisture-scavenging agent, the cellular layer characterized by being composed of essentially uniform, open and interconnecting cells, and the exposed foam surface characterized by a smooth thin skin resin layer substantially free of craters, pimples and ridges therein.
