    摘要: The present invention provides an improved loudspeaker enclosure comprising two opposing end sections arranged at a distance from each other and enclosing sections which connect the end sections over said distance, wherein the inner volume of the enclosure is defined by said sections. The enclosure also has a reflex port which comprises a reflex opening which is provided to the enclosure and adapted to exhaust internal pressure from the inner volume to outside the enclosure. The reflex port further comprises an inner reflex port former which connects the inner volume of the enclosure to the reflex opening for forming the reflex port. The reflex port former is formed by molding as an integral inner wall section which extends inwards from the inner surface of either or both end section. On the other hand the reflex port former extends adjacent to an enclosing section which at least partially surrounds the reflex port former such that the reflex port is formed to a space between the reflex port former and the adjacent enclosing section.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a loudspeaker including an enclosure having front portion, side portions and back portion defining an inner volume, the front portion is formed as a waveguide surface and includes at least one driver in the center of the waveguide surface and is capable to radiate the main acoustic power of the loudspeaker to ambient volume in direction of first acoustic axis, and an additional driver attached to the enclosure. In accordance with the invention the additional driver is attached inside the enclosure such that a sub volume is formed inside the inner volume, the sub volume limited by the driver, spacers between the driver and the front portion, and the front portion of the enclosure, and at least one port is adapted to open from the sub volume to ambient volume either to side portion or back portion of the enclosure and at least one resonator acoustically connected to the sub volume, the resonator being tuned to at least one of unwanted resonances of the sub volume.

In accordance with the invention the factory calibration parameters are also stored in a memory fixedly mounted to the loudspeaker.

In accordance with the invention the three dimensional waveguide comprises an acoustically selectively transparent portion which is acoustically essentially reflecting to sound waves of the first frequency band propagating in a direction angled to the first acoustic axis, the waveguide portion is essentially transparent to sound waves of the second frequency band propagating in the direction of the second acoustic axis through the waveguide portion, and in that the second driver is positioned inside the enclosure behind the acoustically selectively transparent portion.

    摘要: The present invention provides a loudspeaker driver not suffering from high levels of distortion caused by the non-linear stiffness commonly found with drivers that utilize progressive suspension elements. The novel suspension element for suspending the diaphragm of a loudspeaker driver to the chassis thereof has a geometry with two opposing first sections and two opposing second sections, which connect the two first sections. The second sections have a curvature radius smaller than that of the first sections. The mean height of the radial cross-sectional profile of the second section is higher than the height of the cross-sectional profile of the first sections. The first sections have an axial stiffness greater than the second sections.
