Abstract:
A method includes storing a database search query for searching a semantic database. The database search query includes references to a plurality of data classes. The data classes correspond to data stored in the semantic database. The database search query includes a plurality of filter values and a plurality of return values. Relationship data is stored in association with the stored database search query. The relationship data indicates relationships among data classes included in the plurality of data classes. A data entry form is automatically generated. The data entry form includes a respective data entry mechanism that corresponds to each filter value included in the database search query. The data entry form also includes a respective data display column that corresponds to each return variable. A respective set of permissible input values is automatically generated for each of the data entry mechanisms.
Abstract:
A method for knowledge management using concept rules includes receiving event data corresponding to an industrial application and generating at least one inference concept based on the event data. The method also includes obtaining a semantic model having a plurality of inference concepts, a plurality of relationships among the plurality of inference concepts, and a plurality of concept rules representative of domain knowledge. The plurality of concept rules is authored using the plurality of inference concepts and the plurality of relationships. Furthermore, the method includes processing the at least one inference concept based on the semantic model to generate inferential data. The inferential data is representative of an inference corresponding to the event data. In addition, the method includes controlling the industrial application based on the inferential data.
Abstract:
Examples relate to systems for authoring and executing predictive models. A computer system includes a model development context analyzer configured to store a set of derived modeling knowledge generated at least in part from a plurality of modeling operations performed using at least a first predictive model authoring tool. The system is configured to, receive a modeling context indicating at least a modeling operation being performed, determine, from the modeling context, at least one element of an ontology, the ontology defining at least one attribute of a plurality of modeling operations, query the set of derived modeling knowledge using the at least one element of the ontology to identify at least one record of the set of derived modeling knowledge associated with the at least one element of the ontology, identify at least one suggested model parameter associated with the modeling context, and provide the at least one suggested model parameter.
Abstract:
A method in a computer system includes displaying a user interface screen to aid in generating search queries for a semantic database. The user may select two or more data classes from a displayed class hierarchy. Analysis of the semantic database may lead to generating and displaying one or more paths via class relationships between selected data classes. The user may interact with a displayed path of class relationships to provide input to the system, and from that input the system may automatically generate a search query.
Abstract:
In various example embodiments, a semantic modeling server includes a semantic model and an inductive logic programming module. The semantic module includes underlying data that defines one or more characteristics of a part to be manufactured. The inductive logic programming module is provided with positive and negative examples of a feature to be identified and part data that defines the part to be manufactured. Given the examples of the feature and the semantic model, the inductive logic programming module determines various rules that can be used to identify whether the provided part data includes the feature defined by the semantic model. Using the determined rules the inductive logic programming module then identifies instances of the feature associated with the semantic model within the provided part data. The inductive logic programming can then be iteratively executed with the semantic model to refine the determined rules.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus for analyzing, mapping and structuring healthcare data are disclosed. An example method includes parsing a clinical report to identify a parameter within the clinical report and associated with an image. The clinical report is associated with the image. The example method includes, when the parameter is identified in the parsing, analyzing the image to determine a value of the parameter, mapping the value, the image, and the clinical report to a model and generating an output to display one or more of the value, the image, or the clinical report.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for querying time series data using a semantically-informed search. The method including receiving from a client computer a data request for time series data records stored in a time series database, parsing the data request by accessing one or more ontologies in a semantic data store to determine a set of values pertinent to the received request, applying the determined set of values to a model representing a relationship applicable to the time series data, assembling a query compatible to a format implemented in the time series database, and querying the time series database with the assembled query. The received data request describes requested data in terms of one or more available models, the available models representing relationships applicable to the time series data, and the parsing step includes implementing sematic technology to access the ontologies. A system for implementing the method and a non-transitory computer-readable medium are also disclosed.
