    摘要： A method of and system for enhanced local-device content discovery is disclosed. A method includes providing a local collection of content items and associated metacontent on a device. The metacontent describes the informational content of the corresponding content items. A remote catalog of metacontent items and information describing relationships between the metacontent items is provided. Input is received from the user for finding at least one desired content item and a search query is formed including at least one metacontent item of the remote catalog based on matching the input from the user with metacontent items of the catalog and further based on the information describing relationships between the metacontent items. A subset of content items of the local collection associated with metacontent that at least partially matches the search query is selected and presented on a display device based on at least one ranking criterion.

    摘要： A data gathering and query method for collecting ongoing updates to large, unstructured or semi-structured databases is provided. The method comprises gathering a plurality of events defined in a database syntax that is not structured and aggregating the plurality of events into one or more part files. Each of the one or more part files store a subset of the plurality of events in a columnar format, and each of the one or more part files comprises a header file that includes metadata corresponding to a subset of the plurality of events stored in the part file and is separate from the subset of events stored in the part file. The method further comprises uploading the one or more part files to a cloud storage repository configured to store the one or more part files so that they can be queried by a query server based on the header files.

    摘要： Systems and methods are described for indexing related documents to provide more robust search functionality within an index. In one aspect, a first document, such as a comment or status update associated with a second document or ticket item, may be obtained. As a result of the first document including first data that is linked to second data of the second document, an instance of the second document may be modified to include at least a portion of the first data. An index, which indexes a corpus of documents, such as ticket items, may be updated to include the modified second document, such that the first data is associated with the modified second document in the index. Responsive to a query for the first data in the index, the modified second document and any included first data may be returned.

    摘要： Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are provided for determining a connection degree between users. Upon receiving user data, a report line hierarchy tree is updated, the hierarchy tree including user reporting information and relationships within an organization received from user profile data. A report line feature code is determined for each user by a feature code generator based on the report line hierarchy tree and stored in a data store. A location hierarchy tree is generated based on physical location information from the user profile data. A location feature code is determined for each user based on the location hierarchy tree and is also stored in the data store. To determine a connection degree between one or more users the feature codes including either or both of the report line feature codes and the location feature codes of the users are retrieved from the data store and compared.
