摘要: The method resides in profiling a part of a cylindrical pipe by drawing it through a moulding device, and reducing the pipe over its entire length for the diameter of the cylindrical part of the pipe to be substantially equal to the diameter of the circumscribed circle of its profiled part.The apparatus for performing the method comprises a drawing bench supporting a drawing die (2) accommodated in a housing (1) and a drawing carriage. Cams (6) are situated in front of the drawing die (2) at both sides of the path of the travel of a pipe (5) being manufactured, their one ends carrying deforming rollers (7) and their other ends carrying forked levers (8) cooperating with the drawing carriage through a tie (11) with slots (10) receiving therein lock pins (9) adapted to engage the forked levers (8). The apparatus further includes a pivoted lever (29) with a bearing roller (31), mounted on the housing (1). One arm of the pivoted lever (29) is adapted to engage the pipe (5) being profiled through the bearing roller (31), and the other arm thereof carries pivotally mounted stops (26) adapted for periodical cooperation with the cams (6).

摘要: The method of casing off a producing formation in a well includes drilling into the producing formation (19) and reaming the borehole in the producing formation zone. Then the producing fomation (19) is shut off with a fluid-impervious envelope (14) of profile pipes reamed in the process of their setting by building up a pressure drop thereacross. Then the flow casing string (5) is run into the well and cemented, followed by re-exposing the producing formation (19). The running-in of the flow casing string (5) is terminated upon its having entered the upper part of the fluid-impervious envelope (14).

摘要: The well reamer comprises a sub for attaching it to the drive means, a hollow housing with a central channel and radial openings in its side wall, projectable rolling cutters with shanks, mounted in the radial openings of the housing, and a mechanism for projecting the rolling cutters, including a piston and a member for locking the rolling cutters in their operating positions. The annular piston is connected with the housing for joint rotation therewith, and is regidly connected with the sub. The wall of the piston has radial passages made therein, establishing communication between its central channel and so annular space defined between the walls of the piston and of the housing. The member for locking the rolling cutters is accommodated with a clearance in the central channels of the piston and of the housing, and has an annular shoulder. The central channel of the piston defines a seat for engagement with the annular shoulder of the locking member.

The expanding member (3) is shaped as a spherical segment (9) having its external surface defined by alternating portions of a spherical surface (10) and the lateral surfaces of cylinders (11) whose geometric axes being to a plane perpendicular to the axis (13) of the journal (2).
