摘要: A marine sonar display device comprises a display, a memory element, and a processing element. The processing element is configured to transmit a transmit electronic signal to a frequency steered sonar element that transmits an array of sonar beams into a body of water in a first direction towards the front of the marine vessel forming a first sonar wedge and a second array of sonar beams into a body of water in a second direction directly below the marine vessel forming a second sonar wedge, receive a receive electronic signal from the frequency steered sonar element, generate an array of sonar image slices, identify a gap in an underwater area between the first sonar wedge and the second sonar wedge, and control the display to visually present the array of sonar image slices in near real time and a sonar image slice in the gap.

摘要: A frequency steered sonar element comprises a transducer element and a grating element. The transducer element presents a longitudinal axis and is configured to receive a transmit electronic signal and generate an acoustic wave with a frequency component corresponding to a frequency component of the transmit electronic signal. The grating element presents a longitudinal axis and is oriented such that a longitudinal axis of the grating element and a longitudinal axis of the transducer element form an acute angle. The grating element includes a first surface and an opposing second surface. One or more of the surfaces includes one or more grooves distributed thereon, the one or more grooves including first and second facets. The grating element is configured to emit a sonar beam in an angular direction which varies according to the frequency component of the acoustic wave.

摘要: A system, method, and device for monitoring a physiological characteristic of a user includes a wearable monitoring device including one or more LEDs configured to emit light toward a user's skin tissue and two or more sensors laterally disposed along a longitudinal axis of an extremity of a user. Each sensor generates a signal based on an intensity of received light from a location against or adjacent to the sensor where a pulse wave resulting from a user's heart beat passes. A processor calculates one or more physiological characteristics of the user, such as blood pressure or stress, based on the generated signal from each sensor and a lateral distance therebetween.

The frequency steered transducer array elements are configured to receive a transmit electronic signal including a plurality of frequency components and to transmit an array of sonar beams into a body of water. Each sonar beam is transmitted in an angular direction that varies according to one of the frequency components of the transmit electronic signal. The frequency steered transducer array elements are positioned within the housing in a fan-shaped configuration where an end section of at least two of the frequency steered transducer array elements are within an intersection range of each other.

摘要: Embodiments are disclosed to create a highlight video clip of a first physical event and a second physical event from one or more video clips based on a sensor parameter value generated by a sensor. Upon a physical event occurring, one or more associated sensor parameter values may exceed one or more threshold sensor parameter values or match a stored motion signature associated with a type of motion. Physical events may be recorded from multiple vantage points. A processor of a device or system may generate a highlight video clip by selecting a first video time window and a second video time window from the one or more video clips such that the first video time window begins before and ends after a first event time and the second video time window begins before and ends after a second event time.
