摘要: A lamp having a lighting source, integral electronics, and a thermal distribution mechanism disposed in a housing. The thermal distribution mechanism may include a variety of insulative, radiative, conductive, and convective heat distribution techniques. For example, the lamp may include a thermal shield between the lighting source and the integral electronics. The lamp also may have a forced convection mechanism, such as an air-moving device, disposed adjacent the integral electronics. A heat pipe, a heat sink, or another conductive heat transfer member also may be disposed in thermal communication with one or more of the integral electronics. For example, the integral electronics may be mounted to a thermally conductive board. The housing itself also may be thermally conductive to conductively spread the heat and convect/radiate the heat away from the lamp.

摘要: Systems, methods, and software for determining and visualizing reliability data for industrial automation equipment are provided herein. In one example, a non-transitory computer readable medium having stored thereon program instructions executable by a computing device is presented. When executed by the computing device, the program instructions direct the computing device to present a graphical user interface to receive a user selection for at least one operating parameter for the industrial automation device and identify a modified load profile based on at least a base load profile and the at least one operating parameter for the industrial automation device. The program instructions further direct the computing device to generate reliability information for the industrial automation device based on the modified load profile, and present an indication of the reliability information via the graphical user interface.

摘要: A system and method for the monitoring and treating of a coolant in a cooling system of an MRI system includes a deionization kit connectable to the cooling system of the MRI system. The deionization kit receives coolant from the cooling system to deionize the coolant and forms a closed-loop system with the cooling system when connected thereto. The deionization kit thus allows for unimpeded circulation of the coolant through the deionization kit and the cooling system. Accordingly, the MRI system may remain in operation and be used to perform MR image acquisitions of an object while the deionization kit is connected to the cooling system.

摘要: An improved cooling fan (12) fan for cooling an electronic component includes a rotor (26) rotatably mounted in a housing (18) and having a plurality of fan blades (28). The housing (18) includes a first end (20), a second end (24), and a passage (24) interconnecting the first end and the second end to define an air flow path (25) therebetween. An entry port (16) is defined by an upstream portion of the housing (18) generally adjacent the housing first end (20), with the entry port (16) having a cross-sectional area greater than a cross-sectional area of the passage (24). The entry port (16) and the passage (24) being separated by a transition zone (30), with the entry port (16) and the transition zone (30) cooperating to define an abrupt step (36). The abrupt step (36) is adapted to at least partially affect the flow of air flowing along the flow path (25), thereby reducing the ambient noise level of the fan.

摘要: A method and apparatus for monitoring and controlling temperatures at a semiconductor circuit (22) by an array (32) of thermoelectric cooler cells (34) which are disposed proximate the semiconductor circuit (22). At least one thermoelectric cooler (38) is located at the individual thermoelectric cooler cells (34) for removing and adding heat from cell areas associated with the thermoelectric coolers. A memory device (50) is associated with the cooler cells (34) and stores operational settings for the cooler cells. A controller (28) is coupled with the thermoelectric cooler cells (34) to individually control the operational settings for the cooler cells in the array (32).
