    摘要: A satellite signal routing system includes a satellite using one or more waveguide switches for routing M-inputs to M of N-outputs. A waveguide switch includes a first waveguide, used as a stationary input coupled to a rotary joint. A joint rotation device, such as a motor, rotates the rotary joint. A rotary waveguide is attached to the rotary joint and also rotates. Two or more second waveguides, used as stationary outputs, are coupled to the rotary waveguide through a non-contacting waveguide. A controller controls the joint rotation device to rotate the rotary joint to align the rotary waveguide with one of the second waveguides.

    摘要: A channel member is provided which is configured to be held on the frame of an appliance. The frame includes a lip perpendicular to a first portion of the frame with a flange extending perpendicular to the lip parallel to and in the direction of the first portion of the frame. At least one tab projects out of the first portion of the frame. The channel member is configured to receive a retaining strip having a projecting portion. The channel member has a channel portion and a back portion. The back portion extends between the lip and the tab and has a portion retainingly held by the tab. The channel portion comprises a first resilient leg and a second resilient leg. The first and second legs are spaced apart to form a channel for receiving the projecting portion of the retaining strip. At least one of the first and second legs has a detent formed thereon to retainingly engage the projection. The second leg is configured to at least partially be received in an area defined by the first portion of the frame, the lip and the flange and yet to avoid engaging interference with the flange.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for non-uniformity compensation for infrared focal plane arrays in an infrared imaging device (10) including a calibration operation and a correction operation. The calibration operation measures the response (24) generated by the detector elements (14) in the focal plane array (16) to a wide range of known signal flux levels of infrared radiation (22) produced by a uniform black body under controlled conditions. The responses (24) are then stored as a digital video signal (27) in a look-up table memory (38). The correction operation achieves the near real-time compensation of a second response of the detector element (14) to the signal flux level of infrared radiation (22) produced by objects in the field of view surveyed by the imaging device (10) by comparing the second response to the stored digital video signals (27) and interpolates the second response to a corrected digital video output signal (31).
