摘要: A fluid delivery adapter for use with a wire bar lid is provided. Embodiments can comprise a support base having an aperture defined therein, the aperture being shaped and dimensioned to accept a fluid delivery valve. The support base can be adapted to be disposed on top of the wire bar lid to facilitate providing fluid from a fluid bag supported by the wire bar lid. The fluid delivery adapter can further comprise one or more displaceable side portions extending away from the support base, the side portions providing lateral support for the fluid bag.

摘要: An animal isolation and caging system which maximizes cage density within a ventilated rack is provided. The rack includes at least one air exhaust plenum, and at least one canopy disposed within the rack for ventilation of the cages housed in a rack system. The rack is capable of supporting a first cage within the rack below a first canopy, and also positioning a second cage below a second canopy. The filter top of the first cage provided by the invention also provides a filter retainer having a filter top retainer wall designed to be in contact with a first canopy unit forming an enclosed space so configured as to create an enclosed space from which the animal isolation and caging system of the invention creates a zone of negative pressure so as to permit air to be drawn into an air exhaust plenum or duct from the interior of the first cage through the top of the first cage.

摘要: A DNA (Deoxyribo Nucleic Acid) detection device and a manufacturing method thereof detects DNA by an electrical method without a separate process for detection by using semiconductor microfabrication techniques. The DNA detection device includes a pair of chambers formed on a semiconductor substrate for accommodating a detection sample, a channel connecting the pair of chambers and a lid covering the pair of chambers. According to the present invention, it is possible to attain a DNA detection device, which can be mass-produced from a silicon substrate by using semiconductor manufacturing technology with improved microfabrication techniques, and a manufacturing method thereof.

摘要: A three dimensional scaffold having a three dimensional structure is easily fabricated by employing a lithography process used in a semiconductor manufacturing process. A method of fabricating the same is also disclosed have a conformational structure. In the method of fabricating a three dimensional scaffold having the conformational structure according to the present invention, a first pattern is first formed on a substrate by using a first photoresist through a lithography process, and a temporary photoresist is coated on a whole surface of the substrate. Next, a temporary pattern exposing the upper part of the first pattern to the surface is formed by using the lithography process, and a second photoresist contacting the first pattern via the temporary pattern is coated on the whole surface of the substrate. Subsequently, the temporary pattern is removed after exposing and developing the second photoresist, and then, a second pattern connected to the first pattern is formed with the second photoresist, to thereby obtain the three dimensional scaffold. Accordingly, the present invention can readily fabricate a three dimensional scaffold having a three dimensional structure through a lithography process using a photoresist.
