For a network initiated detach, a gateway can provision state information to a state information server following receiving a routing tunnel termination message to ensure state information deleted as a part of the detach is re-provisioned to the state information server.

In one example, there is provided a method, operable by the user equipment (UE), that may involve connecting to a first wireless network (e.g., a 3GPP network) associated with a first access point name (APN), and connecting to a second wireless network (e.g., a WAN) associated with a second APN. The method may involve performing handover for the first APN from the first wireless network to the second wireless network.
