Said lithium ion-conductive solid electrolyte can be produced by subjecting to solid phase reaction a mixture of a titanium oxide, a lithium salt, a phosphoric salt and M.sub.2 O.sub.3 (M is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Fe, Al and rare earth elements) or a silicon oxide or a mixture of LiTi.sub.2 (PO.sub.4).sub.3 and other lithium compound. Said lithium ion-conductive electrolyte can be used in the form of a lithium ion-conductive electrolyte sheet to prepare a structure suitable for solid electrochemical elements.
