Abstract:
Embodiments include a computer-implemented method that includes identifying a plurality of geolocations associated with a user based on a plurality of received geolocation signals, receiving, from a user device, a search query from the user, selecting one of the plurality of geolocations as a query geolocation based on application of a plurality of rules in a predefined order, identifying a set of search query results responsive to the search query based at least in part on the query geolocation, and providing, to the user device, the set of search query results for display to the user.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for attribute-based user data visualizations are described, including determining that an event is associated with a category, the event is one of a plurality of events that are associated with a user using one or more products; clustering the event with a group of events that are associated with the category; identifying at least a portion of the group of events and at least a portion of another group of events of another category, based on one or more time periods; and providing the at least the portion of the group of events and the at least the portion of the another group of events of the another category for visual presentation.
Abstract:
Provided are systems and methods for selecting a hierarchical location corresponding to a geographic location of a client computer. In some embodiments, a request for location information may be received from a client computer. The request may include a token that enables determination of geolocation data based on the token. The geolocation data may include a list of hierarchical locations, such as a postal code, a city, a state, and a county, and each hierarchical location may be associated with a confidence measure. The hierarchical locations may be iteratively traversed from smallest to largest. If the confidence measure of a selected hierarchical location is greater than a threshold, the hierarchical location may be provided as the location information. If the confidence measure of the selected hierarchical location is less than the threshold, the next hierarchical location may be selected and the associated confidence measure compared to the threshold.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus for determining aspects of locations based on interactions of users with the locations. In some implementations, an aspect of a location may be determined based on comparing a first interaction measure for the location to a second measure. The first interaction measure may be determined based on a first group of interactions that are associated with the location. In some implementations, the second measure may be determined based on a second group of interactions that include additional interactions that are in addition to the interactions of the first group.
Abstract:
Provided are systems, methods, and computer-readable media for determining locations of interest to a user. User activity over a period of time is obtained and used to determine geographic entities (e.g., locations) of interest. The user activity is aggregated by geographic entity and a relevancy score is calculated for each geographic entity. The geographic entity having the highest score is stored as a location of interest in a location profile for the user. Multiple geographic entities having the highest specified number of relevancy scores may also be stored.
