摘要: A method for performing disaster recovery in a clustered environment comprises identifying, at a master device, a first indexer from a set of indexers to serve as a primary indexer for responding to queries pertaining to a subset of data. The method also comprises assigning, at the master device, a generation identifier indicating that the first indexer is the primary indexer for the subset of data. Responsive to an event prompting a change in a primary indexer designation for the subset of data, the method comprises identifying, at the master device, a second indexer from the set of indexers to serve as the primary indexer for responding to queries pertaining to the subset of data. Further, the method comprises assigning, at the master device, a new generation identifier indicating that the second indexer is the primary indexer for the subset of data.

摘要: An imaging apparatus includes an image sensor, a controller, and an output interface. The image sensor captures a subject image to generate imaging data. The controller performs repair processing to generate a moving image file by sequentially analyzing information used for reproduction of a moving image from a corrupted file, the moving image file being capable of reproducing the moving image indicated by the imaging data, the corrupted file having a defect corrupted from the moving image file. The output interface outputs information to be presented to a user. The controller outputs a part of the moving image via the output interface, in a period from start of the repair processing on the corrupted file to completion of the repair processing, based on analyzed information in the repair processing in execution, the part of the moving image corresponding to the analyzed information.

摘要: A method for system recovery may be provided. The method may be implemented on a management server of a recovery system. The recovery system may further include at least one working server configured to perform one or more tasks and a global storage device configured to store a backup system or a system image file of each of the at least one working server. The management server may be connected to the at least one working server and the global storage device. The method may include, for each of the at least one working server, determining whether the working server is in an abnormal state. For each of the at least one working server, in response to determining that the working server is in an abnormal state, the method may further include assigning at least part of the global storage device to the working server and causing the working server to perform a first system recovery operation using the at least part of the global storage device.

摘要: A dynamic vision sensor (DVS) or change detection sensor reacts to changes in light intensity and in this way monitors how a scene changes. This disclosure covers both single pixel and array architectures. The DVS may contain one pixel or 2-dimensional or 1-dimensional array of pixels. The change of intensities registered by pixels are compared, and pixel addresses where the change is positive or negative are recorded and processed. Analyzing frames based on just three values for pixels, increase, decrease or unchanged, the proposed DVS can process visual information much faster than traditional computer vision systems, which correlate multi-bit color or gray level pixel values between successive frames.

摘要: A system facilitating scaling of topics is provided. During operation, the system can suspend a stateful application of a topic and a stateful backup topic on an event-driven platform. The topic corresponds to a stream of events associated with the application. The system can modify configuration at the platform to allow a new set of partitions of the topic and a new set of backup partitions of the backup topic. The system can identify a state of event records from the application in a previous backup partition and identify a new backup partition allocated to the application. If they are different, the system can transfer the state to the new backup partition. The system can resume the application for generating an updated state, which is maintained at the new backup partition, based on the state and subsequent event records associated with the application.

摘要: In dynamic vision sensor (DVS) or change detection sensors, the chip or sensor is configured to control or modulate the event rate. For example, this control can be used to keep the event rate close to a desired rate or within desired bounds. Adapting the configuration of the sensor to the scene by changing the ON-event and/or the OFF-event thresholds, allows having necessary amount of data, but not much more than necessary, such that the overall system gets as much information about its state as possible.

摘要: Techniques for in-band modification of event notification preferences for server events are provided. One method comprises obtaining an event notification; providing the event notification to a target device based on rule-based preferences of a user associated with the target device; obtaining a reply to the event notification from the target device, wherein the reply comprises event preferences of the user; and updating the rule-based preferences of the user based on the event preferences of the user. The updating of the rule-based preferences of the user may comprise creating, modifying and/or canceling at least one event preference rule of the user. A plurality of the event preference rules matching the event notification may be resolved in an order determined by one or more event preference rule resolution criteria.
