Methods, systems, and media for recommending collaborators of media content based on authenticated media content input are provided. In some implementations, the method comprises: receiving a request from a content creator to initiate presentation of broadcasted media content using a media device, wherein the request invites a plurality of users to participate in the broadcasted media content; determining that a user of the plurality of users has interacted with the broadcasted media content, wherein the user has been permitted to interact with the broadcasted media content in response to providing user authentication information; determining collaborator information associated with the user based on the user authentication information; and automatically causing, without user interaction, the determined collaborator information to be presented to the content creator for associating with the broadcasted media content.
Abstract:
A message sent by a message sender to a message receiver can be, e.g., upon arrival at a message system server, ranked or scored based on attributes of the message sender such as influence and engagement. Influence can relate to a determination of how influential the message sender is. Engagement can relate to a determination of how interested the message sender is in content published or syndicated by the message receiver. The message score can reflect a combination of an influence score and an engagement score. Scored messages can be sorted or filtered according to a desired element and a presentation of messages stored by the message system can be updated (e.g., ordered and scored) according to the desired element.

Systems and methods that facilitate collaboration between entities based on similarity in respective audiences of the entities, are provided. In an aspect, a system includes an identification component configured to identify a set of channels having at least one common subscriber to a channel, and a ranking component configured to rank respective channels in the set based on number of common subscribers between the respective channels in the set and the first channel. The system further includes a filter component configured to identify a subset of the respective channels in the set based on the ranking, and a recommendation component configured to recommend the subset of the respective channels to an entity associated with ownership of the channel for potential collaboration with the channel.
Abstract:
A system and method for sharing revenue associated with a video is disclosed. The method includes generating a popularity score for a first video based at least in part on first popularity data. The popularity score is indicative of present and future popularity of the first video. The method also includes retrieving historical data includes historical popularity and profitability of multiple videos submitted by an owner of the first video, in response to determining that the popularity score for the first video is greater than a predetermined value. The method also includes determining that the first video is eligible to participate in a revenue sharing program based at least in part on the retrieved historical data. The method includes generating a message for a client device associated with the owner of the first video to invite the owner of the first video to participate in the revenue sharing program.
Abstract:
Both content creators and content consumers can benefit by improving communication mechanisms that currently exist. For example, content creators can increase the appeal of content by leveraging the energy of fans, but it is often difficult to identify which content consumers are the best or top fans. However, such can be identified based on various metrics, for example, based on engagement and/or influence of the content consumer. Once the set of top fans is identified, content creators can interact, potentially exclusively, with the set of top fans, which can enhance the experience for all parties involved.
Abstract:
A method for recommending content is disclosed. The method includes identifying social relationship data for a user, the social relationship data including a set of associated users, determining a subset of the set of associated users based on similarity of content item interaction on a content sharing server, and providing the subset of associated users as recommended users to follow by the user. The method also includes receiving an indication of a selection of users from the subset of associated users, originating a social content item recommendation list for the user based on the selected users, and providing the social content item recommendation list to the user.
