Abstract: A user verification system is configured to identify likely interactors approaching points of interaction to ensure accurate interactions and to provide loyalty rewards. In an example, a interaction system installs a user verification device with a stereo camera at an interacting device to capture images of the user and to obtain data from the device. The user verification device uses the stereo camera to determine the location of the user to determine if the user is a likely interactor. The user verification device recognizes motions of the user that are indicative of an interactor, such as reaching across the counter or looking at the operator. The user verification device identifies or verifies the interactor based on the record data or the display data. If the user is the likely interactor, then the system conducts a hands-free interaction with the user account or provides loyalty rewards to the user account.

Abstract: A service provider system registers with a service system. A user establishes an account with the service system and the service system establishes a facial template associated with the user account. The service system transmits, to a service provider device at a location, identification information and transmits a shared encryption key to a user computing device associated with the user. The user enters the merchant location carrying the user computing device. The service device receives the encryption key from the user device and decrypts the identification information associated with the user using the encryption key. The user initiates a service request and the service provider device verifies the identity of the user via the facial template associated with the user by generating a facial template based on an image captured of the user to compare against the facial template associated with the user. The service device processes the service request.

The application receives from the application system a post-interaction collectible icon animation. The graphical user interface renders the post-interaction collectible icon animation for display to the user. The graphical user interface allows the user to collect the collectible icon as part of a set for future display or sharing with a social network.

If the generated facial template is less than a threshold difference from the existing facial template, the user may update user account information at the merchant POS device, which communicates the updated user account information to the account management system. The account management system associates the updated user account information with the user account.

Abstract: Conducting hands-free transactions comprises a server at a payment processing system, a user computing device, and a merchant computing device. The payment processing system receives a communication from a hands-free payment application on a user device, the communication comprising a first transaction token, an identification of a user account, and a beacon identifier. The merchant may provide a challenge to the user and use the response to identify the token and account of the user. The merchant computing device can use voice patterns of the user to assist in identifying the token and account of the user. The system receives from the merchant computing device a transaction request, the transaction request comprising the first transaction token and transaction data associated with the transaction request. The system determines that the transaction is for an amount less than a configured transaction limit and communicates a request for an authorization of the transaction.

Abstract: An account management system establishes a facial template for a user based on an image. The user computing device, signed into a payment application at the merchant location, receives an identifier from a merchant beacon device to transmit to the account management system, which transmits payment tokens based on payment account data and facial templates to the merchant POS device for each user signed in at the merchant location. The merchant POS device identifies the user by comparing a captured image of the user against the received facial templates and transmits the payment token to an issuer system. At a later time, the account management system receives, from a user computing device, a subsequent user image and generates a subsequent facial template. If the difference of the subsequent facial template is less than a threshold from the existing facial template, the subsequent facial template is associated with the user account.
