摘要: Waste reduction, including hazardous waste reduction in photoimaging processes can be accomplished by improving diffusional resolution of cationic curable compositions. The addition of fluorinated polymers including fluorinated surfactants provides improved diffusional resolution in cationic and/or radical based photoimaging formulations allowing for image accuracy improvements, and reduced product and process waste quantity and disposal cost. These fluorinated surfactants also allow for increased cure speed, and non-hazardous constituent formulations that result in less wasted material and time.

摘要: An apparatus and a method for providing edge protection for timber kit erections is provided in which fixing brackets (103, 105) are attached to a floor cassette (71) or to the top of a wall panel (67), into which a guard assembly (121) is inserted. When edge protection is no longer required the guard assembly is subsequently removed, for example by use of a sling and shackle. Typically, the edge protection is put in place before the floor cassette is lifted into position on the timber kit erection. Vertical members, horizontal members, and fixing brackets for the same are also provided. In addition, an edge locating apparatus, and a corresponding method for locating an upper section of timber kit onto a lower section of timber kit, is provided having a sloping portion to guide the upper section onto lower section.

摘要: A borehole apparatus capable of autonomously estimating its position in a borehole and controlling the actions of a downhole tool located in the borehole. The apparatus comprising a body, at least one measurement device capable of measuring a parameter of the borehole or the distance traveled by the device, a computer system located in the body, and a power system. The computer system comprises a processor arranged to receive data from the at least one measurement device and to calculate the position of the apparatus in the borehole, and a data storage device capable of storing data that have been processed by the processor and for storing instructions to control the actions of the downhole tool. The computer system is configured to process the data gathered from the at least one measurement device to estimate the position of the downhole device using a Bayesian approach and configured to provide output signals to control an action of the downhole tool dependant on the position of the apparatus in the borehole.

摘要: A control pedal assembly includes a first axle forming a first pivot axis and a first booster link pivotable about the first pivot axis. A control pedal has a second axle forming a second pivot axis, a pedal arm pivotable about the second pivot axis, and a pedal at a lower end of the pedal arm. A second booster link is pivotably connecting the pedal arm with the first booster link so that pivoting motion of the pedal arm about the second pivot axis pivots the booster link about the first pivot axis. A support member has a first end supporting the second axle on opposite sides of the pedal arm and the support member is pivotable about its second end. A drive assembly is operably connected to the control pedal to move the second axle in a fore-aft direction to adjust the control pedal in a fore-aft direction.

摘要: A laminate material comprising two components, a first thermoplastic polymer substrate and a second thermoplastic polymer blown film; wherein the film and substrate are directly bonded one to another and where substantially one face or side of the substrate only is laminated with film; such that in use the resistance of the substrate to a localised impact on a non-laminated face is significantly reduced by the presence of the film layer.

摘要: A linkage mechanism producing a varying ratio brake pedal actuating a brake booster for a brake system. The linkage mechanism includes a drive link pivotally mounted to a stationary bracket and having a pin and slot connection to the brake pedal. The drive link is pivotally connected to a booster operating rod, and the pin and slot connection causes the drive link booster rod pivotal connection to be swung up towards the brake pedal pivotal mount to increase the brake pedal leverage as it is advanced from a rest position.

摘要: A control pedal assembly includes a first support and a second support adjustable in a fore-aft direction relative to the first support. At least one guide is carried by the second support and has a tapered engagement surface engaging the first support and moving along the first support as the second support is adjusted in the fore-aft direction. A spring member biases the tapered engagement surface of the at least one guide into engagement with the first support. A pedal is supported by the second support and is pivotable about a horizontal pivot axis. The second support carries the pedal as the second support is adjusted in the fore-aft direction.
