摘要: The present invention fits into the 3D microprinting sector and relates to a process for producing degradable 3D polymeric nano- or microstructures having sub-micrometre resolution. The process of the invention uses a photoresist formulation comprising a mixture of: (i) cyclic ketene acetal monomers; (ii) vinyl and/or (meth)acrylic monomers; and (iii) at least one photoinitiator. The process of the invention is based on two-photon polymerisation photoinitiated by focusing a laser beam within said photoresist formulation, with the obtainment of polymeric nano- or microstructures degradable under mild conditions and having sub-micrometre resolution.

摘要: Matrix-filled liquid radiation curable resin compositions for additive fabrication are described and claimed. Such resins include a cationically polymerizable component that is an aliphatic epoxide, a multifunctional (meth)acrylate component, a cationic photoinitiator, a free-radical photo initiator, and a matrix of inorganic fillers, wherein the matrix further constitutes prescribed ratios of at least one microparticle constituent and at least one nanoparticle constituent. Also described and claimed is a process for using the matrix-filled liquid radiation curable resins for additive fabrication to create three dimensional parts, and the three-dimensional parts made from the liquid radiation curable resins for additive fabrication.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a method for building a three-dimensional object using a printable composition including high viscosity polymerizable components. The method includes the steps of a) providing a printable composition comprising a high viscosity polymerizable component and a temporary solvent; b) selectively curing the printable composition to form an article representing the shape of the three-dimensional object; and c) removing a substantial amount of the temporary solvent from the article. The method is particularly well suited to making an orthodontic clear tray aligner. Also disclosed are a variety of printable compositions including high viscosity polymerizable components, such as polyurethane methacrylates, and temporary solvents.

摘要: A method of forming a dual cure three-dimensional object by additive manufacturing may be carried out by mixing a first precursor liquid and a second precursor liquid to produce a polymerizable liquid comprising a mixture of (i) a light polymerizable liquid first component, and (ii) a second solidifiable component (e.g., a second reactive component) that is different from the first component (e.g., that does not contain a cationic photoinitiator, or is further solidified by a different physical mechanism, or further reacted, polymerized or chain extended by a different chemical reaction). In the foregoing: (i′) at least one reactant of the second solidifiable component is contained in the first precursor liquid, and (ii′) at least one reactant or catalyst of the second solidifiable component is contained in the second precursor liquid. Once mixed, the three-dimensional object may be formed from the resin by a dual cure additive manufacturing process.

摘要: Novel cleaning compositions, usable for removing a cured support material from a printed object obtained by additive manufacturing such as 3D inkjet printing are provided. The cleaning compositions are aqueous alkaline compositions containing a combination of two alkaline substances: an alkali metal hydroxide and an alkali metal silicate, each at a concentration of no more than 3 weight percents of the total weight of the composition. The cleaning compositions are characterized by high and constant dissolution rate, and are particularly useful for removing a cured support material that includes cross-linked polymeric chains such as cross-linked polyacrylate chains. Kits comprising the alkaline substances, and methods of fabricating a three-dimensional model object which utilize the cleaning compositions or the kits, and a three-dimensional model object fabricated thereby, are also provided.

摘要: Disclosed here is a method for making an architected three-dimensional aerogel, comprising providing a photoresin comprising a solvent, a photoinitiator, a crosslinkable polymer precursor, and a precursor for graphene, metal oxide or metal chalcogenide; curing the photoresin using projection microstereolithography layer-by-layer to produce a wet gel having a pre-designed three dimensional structure; drying the wet gel to produce a dry gel; and pyrolyzing the dry gel to produce an architected three-dimensional aerogel. Also disclosure is a photoresin for projection microstereolithography, comprising a solvent, a photoinitiator, a crosslinkable polymer precursor, and graphene oxide.

The exposure method includes coating a photo-curable material on a substrate, and exposing a portion of the photo-curable material by providing a first light source through an optical fiber to form a first photo-cured material. The optical fiber includes a light output end and a cone portion that tapers toward the light output end. The photo-curable material not exposed by the first light source is removed while leaving the first photo-cured material. Exposure equipment for performing the exposure method and a 3-dimensional structure formed thereby are also described.
