    摘要: A magnetic head includes a dielectric member, a coil and a heat conductor. The dielectric member has an obverse surface held in facing relation to a data storage disk. The coil generates a required magnetic field. The coil is provided in the dielectric member or in the obverse surface of the dielectric member. The heat conductor absorbs heat generated by the coil. The heat conductor has a heat conductivity which is higher than that of the dielectric member. The heat conductor has a surface which is at least partially irregular.

    摘要: The present invention efficiently radiates heat generated by a coil while suppressing a decrease in the efficiency of generation of magnetic fields caused by an eddy current. The present invention includes a coil extending spirally in a plane and covered with a dielectric material, a magnetic substance provided parallel with the plane so as to overlap the coil, and a radiator extending in the plane so as to surround the coil and having projecting portions which project toward an outermost periphery of the coil and groove portions recessed in a direction opposite to that in which the projecting portions project, the projecting portions and the groove portions being alternately arranged, the radiator having a higher thermal conductivity than the magnetic substance.

    摘要: An optical information recording/reproducing apparatus records information on and/or reproduces information from an optical recording medium based on a reflected light beam from the optical recording medium. The apparatus includes a light splitting part having a plurality of light splitting stages which split the reflected light beam from the optical recording medium into a plurality of light beams, and a photodetector unit including a plurality of photodetectors which receive the plurality of light beams from the light splitting part. The photodetector unit includes a plurality of photodetectors which receive light beams used to detect a focal error, at least one photodetector which receives a light beam used to detect a tracking error, and a plurality of photodetectors which receive light beams used to detect magneto-optic information recorded on the optical recording medium.
