Abstract: An air motor assembly includes an exhaust block with an exhaust port that conveys exhaust air into an exhaust manifold. The exhaust port includes an expansion chamber that creates a pressure drop in the exhaust gas, thereby decreasing the temperature of the exhaust gas. The expansion chamber is defined between a first wall that is tangential to the air motor cylinder and a second wall that is transverse to an axis of the exhaust port. Poppet valves control actuation of a shuttle. The poppet valves are disposed on the exterior of the air motor assembly and are thermally insulated from the air motor assembly.

Abstract: A temperature control unit includes a fitting, a heating wire, a first temperature sensor, and a housing, which contains the first temperature sensor and portions of the fitting and the heating wire. The fitting includes a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, a flow channel extending from the fluid inlet to the fluid outlet, and a passage extending through a wall of the fitting to the flow channel. The heating wire extends through the passage and into the flow channel. The first temperature sensor is secured to an external surface of the fitting opposite the flow channel and is electrically connected to the heating wire.

Abstract: A plural component dispensing system includes at least one compressed gas pneumatically connected to supply pressurized gas to each of a first pressure vessel that discharges a first fluid component and a second pressure vessel that discharges a second fluid component. Each of the first fluid component and the second fluid component is supplied from the respective pressure vessel through individual flow meters to a device. A first pressure regulator is pneumatically connected between the first pressure vessel and the at least one compressed gas source to regulate pressure of the first pressure vessel. A controller receives sensed first and second volumetric flow rates from the individual flow meters and controls the first pressure regulator based on the sensed volumetric flow rates to produce a target ratio of the first fluid component and the second fluid component at the device.

Abstract: The disclosure addresses a relief valve suitable for use in systems for delivering relatively viscous fluids. The described relief valve includes a housing and a valve mechanism moveable relative to an opening into the housing to allow or prevent flow from a flow path adjacent the relief valve into and through the housing. The relief valve is configured to minimize, and in many examples, essentially eliminate, a cavity between the housing opening and the adjacent flow path. Elimination of this cavity offers significant advantages as it minimizes or eliminates a location for pumped materials to accumulate and/or cure, which can lead to impairment or disabling of the relief valve operation.

Abstract: A fluid heater system for a pumping system comprises a core, a heating element and a sleeve. The core comprises a body made of thermally conductive material, and a plurality of channels formed on an outer periphery of the body. The heating element is disposed within the core. The sleeve surrounds the core adjacent the plurality of channels. The sleeve is formed of a material having a higher strength than the thermally conductive material of the core.
