摘要： A blow-molded bottle including a top portion, a bottom portion and a collapsible portion. The collapsible portion further includes opposing panels and opposing sidewalls, the opposing panels having a contoured shape defined by a compound curvature. The compound curvature is defined by a convex longitudinally extending curvature and a concave laterally extending curvature extending between the opposing sidewalls. Application of a force to the opposing panels causes the opposing panels to collapse from an uncollapsed state to a collapsed state, and non-application of the force to the opposing panels returns the opposing panels to the uncollapsed state.

摘要： A reinforced plastic container having improved rim planarity. The container has a non-round main body portion integral with a finish portion. The main body portion has a central longitudinal axis and defines a hollow interior of the container. The finish portion has an upper surface defining a rim with a circumference framing a round opening that provides access to the hollow interior of the container, a radially outwardly extending snap bead being adapted to receive and retain a closure and hermetically seal the container and including interrupted portions located around the circumference of the rim, and a plurality of reinforcements located in the interrupted portions of the snap bead and assuring substantial planarity of the upper surface of the rim even when substantial forces act on the container. Each reinforcement has a strut bounded by and centered between a pair of strut indents, with each indent supported by a buttress.

摘要： A plastic container that is fabricated from an extrudable polyethylene terephthalate (PET) using an extrusion blow molding process includes a neck portion, a bottom portion and a main body portion. The main body portion has a central opening that extends completely through the main body portion and may have generally toroidal area surrounding the central opening. The bottom portion includes a plurality of support feet and a substantially smooth central raised portion that has substantially no discontinuities such as the gate well that is commonly found on PET containers fabricated using the conventional stretch blow molding process. The neck portion may be offset from a longitudinal axis of the container so as to facilitate pouring by a consumer.
