Abstract: An ultraviolet (UV) inkjet printing method providing a stacked printing edge with a smooth effect is disclosed. After an inkjet head is controlled to print an image X on a substrate, a distance between the inkjet head and a surface of the substrate is kept unchanged, and the inkjet head is again controlled to print bi-directionally for at least once on the image X. After completing the above steps, the inkjet head is further controlled to print an image X′ on the image X on the substrate, wherein the image X′ consists of pixels expanded from the image X, such that the image X′ completely covers the image X, forming a smooth arc surface at peripheral edges of the image X.

Abstract: A method for printing transparent ink on different printing media is provided. In a one-time printing process, printing with the transparent ink is performed for a plurality of times on a printed product, and a curing process by means of UV light irradiation is then performed once. The method is characterized in that, after performing the printing with the transparent ink for the first time, the curing process by means of UV light irradiation is performed once.

Abstract: A multi-pass UV inkjet printer for outputting high glossy varnish and a printing method using the same includes providing a side UV light irradiation device at a side of an inkjet module and a front UV light irradiation device in front of the inkjet module not overlapped by a varnish print head. During output of the varnish, varnish outputted on a substrate in the nth pass is passed under the side UV light irradiation device with a lower UV irradiation power during or after the n+1th pass performed by the UV inkjet printer for setting or temporarily no curing, and then during or after the next pass, the varnish is passed under the front UV light irradiation device with a higher UV irradiation power for complete curing, thereby increasing production yield.
