摘要: A non-contact seat position system is provided. The system includes a lower seat track, an upper seat track, a target and a sensor. The upper seat track is positionably connected to the lower seat track, whereby the upper seat track may be positioned into a desirable location. The target is connected either to the lower seat track or the upper seat track, and the sensor is connected to the other of the lower seat track and the upper seat track. The sensor has a line of sight with the target, wherein the sensor when powered, outputs a sensor signal determined from a reflected signal coming from the target. In a first embodiment of the system, the sensor is an infrared sensor. In a second embodiment of the system the sensor is an optical sensor. A method of non-contact seat position system determination is also provided.

摘要: A DC motor circuit is provided for an automobile accessory that includes biplolar input lines for driving an accessory motor. A bridge rectifier coupled to the bipolar input lines generates a unipolar output. A transient voltage suppressor is connected in parallel with the bridge rectifier. A voltage regulator is coupled to the unipolar output for generating a regulated DC voltage. A position encoder is powered by the regulated DC voltage.

摘要: A method of analyzing EEG and EP data in order to differentiate between ongoing neuro-electric activity of the brain of a subject and evoked neuro-electric activity of the brain of the subject, the analysis being based upon the frequency and the amplitude of deflections from the base line of the EEG and EP data, the method including a. recording by EEG measurement the ongoing neuro-electric activity; b. administering a series of sensory stimuli to the subject; c. recording by EEG and EP measurement neuro-electric activity evoked in response to the stimuli; d. marking the time of occurrence, polarity and amplitude of each of the deflections recorded; e. generating a histogram of time periods of the deflections for a defined duration prior to, during and subsequent to each of the single stimuli, the histogram reflecting the deflections within the time periods, generating a deflection time distribution based upon data from the histogram, generating an amplitude profile of the deflections, and f using the deflection time distribution and the amplitude profile to statistically analyze and evaluate the ongoing and evoked neuro-electric activity; such that the differentiation between the ongoing and the evoked neuro-electric activity may be quantified.

摘要: A bleed air valve system is provided that includes a housing, a piston, a cap, a poppet, a first guide ring, and a second guide ring. The housing includes an upper valve seat extending radially inwardly therefrom. The piston is located at least partially in the housing. The cap is coupled to the housing and includes an annular axial section located therein and a lower valve seat. The poppet is located at least partially within the housing and includes a piston coupling section, a valve body section having an upper valve seat contact surface and a lower valve seat contact surface extending radially outwardly therefrom, and a guide section extending through the cap annular axial section. One guide rings is coupled to the piston to contact the housing inner surface. Another guide ring is coupled to the poppet guide section and contacts the cap annular axial section.
