Abstract: A drive system according to an aspect of an embodiment includes a rotor phase detection unit, a phase estimation unit, a phase error adjustment unit, and a drive control unit. The rotor phase detection unit detects a phase of a rotor of a synchronous motor and outputs phase information indicating the detected phase. The phase estimation unit generates an initial phase command of defining a position of the rotor of the synchronous motor by using a correction amount for correcting a phase error. The phase error adjustment unit generates the correction amount for adjusting a phase error of an initial magnetic pole position of the synchronous motor by using a phase error of the initial phase command at a timing defined by the phase information. The drive control unit controls the driving of the synchronous motor by using the initial phase command obtained by adjusting the phase error.

Abstract: A power tool is provided including: a housing including a battery receiving portion configured to receive a removeable power tool battery pack and a motor housing; a brushless direct-current (BLDC) motor disposed within the motor housing, the motor including a stator and a rotor; a power switch circuit disposed between the battery receiving portion and the motor; and a controller that controls a switching operation of the power switch circuit to regulate a supply of power from the battery pack to the motor. At tool start-up, the applies a series of voltage pulses to the motor and measures a corresponding series of motor phase current values to identify an initial position of the rotor relative to the stator. Further, the controller identifies at least one of an impedance or a capacity of the battery pack as a function of the motor phase current values.

Abstract: An electronic module is provided including a circuit board defining a longitudinal axis and having a first surface and a second surface. A module housing is provided having a bottom surface and side walls extending from the bottom surface to form an open face through which the circuit board is received. Power switches configured as an inverter circuit to drive an electric motor are mounted on the second surface of the circuit board facing the bottom surface of the module housing, and a series of heat sinks are discretely mounted on the first surface of the circuit board facing the open face opposite the power switches. Potting material is disposed in the distance between the circuit board and the bottom surface of the module housing to cover the power switches. Thermal vias are disposed through the circuit board between corresponding ones of the heat sinks and the power switches.

A rotational movement of the at least one drive wheel of the vehicle during standstill of the vehicle is not detected by a separate detection unit based on the output alternating quantities.

Abstract: A motor driver using a correcting mechanism on a sensed motor position is provided. A rotor position detector circuit senses a position of a rotor of a motor to output a commutation signal. A back electromotive force detector circuit detects a back electromotive force signal of the motor. An actual phase difference calculator circuit calculates a phase difference between the back electromotive force signal and the commutation signal as an actual phase difference. An error phase angle calculator circuit calculates a difference between the actual phase difference and a reference phase difference as an error phase angle. A motor driving circuit corrects the commutation signal according to the error phase angle. The motor driving circuit determines the position of the rotor of the motor to drive the motor according to the corrected commutation signal.

Abstract: A heating cooker includes a heating chamber, a heating portion, a brushless motor, a body control circuit, a DC power supply circuit, a motor control circuit, and a safety device. The brushless motor drives a rotary drive mechanism included in the heating portion. The body control circuit outputs a drive signal for the brushless motor. The DC power supply circuit supplies DC power to the brushless motor. The motor control circuit controls the driving of the brushless motor in response to the drive signal. The safety device includes a rotation detection element to detect the rotation state of the rotor of the brushless motor and output a rotation detection signal, and a switch for blocking a power supply line connected to the DC power supply circuit. The safety device controls the switch in response to the rotation detection signal and drive signal.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a galvanometer motor, including a stator, a rotor, and a sensor board. The stator includes a housing and a drive coil mounted inside the housing. The rotor includes a rotating shaft and a galvanometer lens. A pair of radially magnetized magnetic poles are at the middle of the rotating shaft, two ends of the rotating shaft are rotatably mounted inside the housing, and one end of the rotating shaft extends outside the housing and is connected to the galvanometer lens. The sensor board is fixed on an inner wall of the housing and is at one end of the housing farther away from the galvanometer lens. The sensor board is mounted with one or more magnetic sensors configured to sense a magnetic field signal generated by the pair of magnetic poles, to obtain absolute positions of the rotating shaft and the galvanometer lens.
