Abstract: A printing device interface to receive a fluid supply may include a fluid dock arranged on an external surface of a housing of the printing device, the fluid dock further arranged to receive a mechanical interface of a fluid supply wherein the arrangement of the fluid dock on the external surface of the housing enables use of a center of mass and weight of the fluid supply to maintain a mechanical, fluidic, and electrical connection with the fluid supply.

Abstract: A printing fluid pen includes a plurality of fluid ports, a pressure regulator in fluid communication with a first fluid port, and a valve in fluid communication with a second fluid port. The first fluid port is to deliver printing fluid to a fluid ejection device, and the second fluid port is to direct printing fluid out of the pen. In response to negative pressure, the valve is to open to enable fluids within the pen to exit via the second port.

Abstract: In one example, a shroud to protect a group of printheads in a printhead assembly includes a body having a first notched end where an upstream part of the body extends past a downstream part of the body and a second notched end opposite the first end where a downstream part of the body extends past an upstream part of the body. A first group of openings in the body is aligned across the upstream part of the body and a second group of openings in the body is aligned across the downstream part of the body. Each opening is to surround an exposed part of a printhead when the shroud is installed on the printhead assembly.

Abstract: An ink container for an inkjet print head includes a substantially rigid body of polymer material, the body including a base and a side wall integrally formed with the base at a perimeter of the base, the body containing ink in a low pressure chamber, and the polymer material having moderate to high air permeability. A flexible film is sealed over the low pressure chamber, inwardly flexible in response to a decrease in pressure and ink volume in the low pressure chamber, and outwardly flexible in response to an increase in pressure and ink volume in the low pressure chamber. A metal is coated on a perimeter of the polymer body and on an outer exposed surface of the flexible film, the metal to form a metal coating configured to decrease the air permeability of the polymer body, the metal coating being formed from at least copper.
