Abstract: An object of the present invention is to speed up an operation of extracting an ion beam from an accelerator. An accelerator 100 includes an upper magnetic pole 8 and a lower magnetic pole 9 sandwiching an ion circulation space 10 in which ions circulate. At least one of the upper magnetic pole 8 and the lower magnetic pole 9 is formed such that a magnetic pole interval between the upper magnetic pole 8 and the lower magnetic pole 9 varies when the ion circulation space 10 is viewed along an ion beam trajectory. That is, a wide interval region 11 having a larger magnetic pole interval than a peripheral region is formed in a region closer to a center point of the ion circulation space 10 than a center point of the ion beam trajectory.

Abstract: A rotating capacitor is used in a circular accelerator that accelerates a charged particle beam by feeding a first radio frequency to a DC main magnetic field. The rotating capacitor modulates a frequency of the first radio frequency. The rotating capacitor includes a stator electrode and a rotor electrode used for modulating the frequency of the first radio frequency together with the stator electrode. A vacuum seal performs vacuum sealing around a shaft for rotating the rotor electrode. A bearing that supports the shaft is installed on an atmosphere side.

Abstract: An actuator for a contactor comprises an electromagnet having a closing coil, a holding coil, fixed cores wound with the closing coil and the holding coil respectively, a movable core provided on one side of the fixed cores, and a yoke. A main contact movable member operates to perform closing or interrupting by attraction or release of the movable core with respect to the fixed core. The actuator has a trip spring, energy-stored during the closing, that performs the interrupting upon stopping energization to the holding coil and thereby releasing the stored-energy. The actuator has an auxiliary contact operating with the operation of the movable core and performing energization switching with respect to the closing coil and the holding coil. The trip spring is provided on one side of the electromagnet in a horizontal direction while the auxiliary contact is provided on the other side.

Abstract: A dynamic magnetic field feed device feeds a magnetic field at predetermined timing to a predetermined region through which an ion beam having desired energy circulating in an acceleration space passes, and displaces a circular orbit of the ion beam having the desired energy. An extraction channel is arranged on an outer periphery of a magnetic pole. A position O1 where an ion introduction device introduces ions into the acceleration space is a position closer to the extraction channel relative to a center O2 of the magnetic pole. A region to which the dynamic magnetic field feed device feeds a magnetic field is a region closer to an opening of the extraction channel relative to the position O1 where ions are introduced, and the magnetic field to be fed is a magnetic field in a direction where the main magnetic field is strengthened.
