Abstract: To determine a communication scheme capable of causing an API to be efficiently executed in accordance with a processing content of the API. An API management system includes an API processing time estimation unit that acquires information of an execution request of an API, estimates a required time required for a predetermined information processing apparatus to execute the API in response to the information of the execution request of the API by analyzing a processing content of the API indicated by the execution request of the API, and determines a communication scheme used for transmitting a request for causing the predetermined information processing apparatus to execute the API to be either synchronous communication or asynchronous communication based on the estimated time.

Abstract: Software that implements processing executed through coordination between multiple hubs is efficiently developed. An information processing system comprises a plurality of AP execution devices that are information processing apparatuses provided in each of a plurality of hubs to execute AP software. Each of the AP execution devices stores common AP software that executes the same processing blocks in the same order. The AP software includes transfer processing blocks implementing processing to coordinate processing of the processing blocks executed by a first one of the AP execution devices in a first one of the hubs with a second one of the AP execution devices in a second one of the hubs. Once the processing reaches a first one of the transfer processing blocks during sequential execution of the processing blocks of the AP software, the first AP execution device transmits a coordination start message notifying of start of the coordination, to the second AP execution device. Once the second AP execution device receives the coordination start message, the second AP execution device starts sequential execution from a processing block following the first transfer processing block.

Abstract: A computer system that processes data among a plurality of sites each including a computer having a processor and a memory. Abstract: A data flow containing a distributed processing starting block, a distributed processing ending block, and a distributed processing target block which is a block described between the distributed processing starting block and the distributed processing ending block is edited by using a flow editor. A master apparatus forming a cluster transmits a message containing an execution instruction of the distributed processing target block to worker apparatuses forming the cluster when the distributed processing starting block has been reached at the time executing the data flow, and upon receipt of the message, each of the worker apparatuses executes the distributed processing target block and transmits a message containing an execution result of the distributed processing target block to the master apparatus, and upon receipt of the execution results from the worker apparatuses, the master apparatus executes a block of the data flow which follows the distributed processing ending block.
