    Abstract: An internal combustion engine cooling system, including: an internal combustion engine; a cooling circuit in which cooling fluid for cooling the internal combustion engine is circulated; a radiator for cooling the cooling fluid; a radiator circuit that branches from the cooling circuit to guide the cooling fluid to the radiator and return the cooling fluid having passed the radiator to the cooling circuit; a thermostat that is provided in a portion where the cooling circuit and the radiator circuit are connected to each other and that opens and closes a path between cooling circuit and the radiator circuit; a heater for heating the thermostat; and a control device for controlling the heater.

    Abstract: An intake air cooling apparatus abnormality detection system for an engine includes a first intake air temperature sensor that detects an intake air temperature in an intake pipe at the downstream side of an intercooler and a second intake air temperature sensor that detects the intake air temperature in an intake manifold. An abnormality determination unit determines that an abnormality occurs in an intercooler cooling water circuit if a state in which at least one of a value based on an output from the first intake air temperature sensor and a value based on an output from the second intake air temperature sensor exceeds a predetermined threshold value continues for a certain time or longer when a load state determination unit determines that the engine is in a high load state.

    Abstract: A cooling control system for an internal combustion engine, which is capable of efficiently driving an electric water pump, thereby improving fuel economy as much as possible while properly performing cooling of supercharged intake air by an intercooler. The engine to which the present invention is applied includes a turbocharger for supercharging intake air and is configured such that electrical power is generated by a generator using the engine as a motive power source, during a decelerating fuel-cut operation in which fuel supply is stopped. The cooling control system of the present invention includes the intercooler of water-cooled type which cools the intake air supercharged by the turbocharger by using coolant circulating through an intake air cooling circuit and an electric pump for circulating the coolant through the intake air cooling circuit, and drives the electric pump during the decelerating fuel-cut operation.
