    Abstract: Provided is a solid battery comprising an electrode laminate including a porous substrate having a meandering shape, wherein the porous substrate includes adjacent flat portions that are connected by folded portions that are interposed therebetween, the flat portions each include a solid electrolyte layer that is filled with a solid electrolyte, and in the electrode laminate, each of the flat portions has a positive electrode disposed on one surface thereof and a negative electrode disposed on the other surface thereof, the positive electrode including a positive electrode current collector sandwiched between positive electrode mixture layers, the negative electrode including a negative electrode current collector sandwiched between negative electrode mixture layers.

    A porous coating layer is disposed on an electrode layer of the electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery using a current collector made of a foamed metal, an electrolytic solution extruded from the electrode layer due to expansion of a negative electrode active material can be absorbed and trapped in the coating layer.

    Abstract: Provided are an electrode for lithium ion secondary batteries which is an electrode for obtaining a lithium ion secondary batteries having high energy density with foam metal as the collector, and further being able to improve durability and input/output characteristics (output density), as well as a lithium ion secondary battery made using this electrode for lithium ion secondary batteries. The electrode layer of the electrode for lithium ion secondary batteries using a collector consisting of foam metal is configured by dividing into a plurality of electrode divided parts, whereby the migration distance of electrons and migration distance of ions in each of the electrode divided parts is shortened.
