摘要： An apparatus is configured to process a work piece and includes a robotic arm, a sealant discharger, and a plasma discharger. The robotic arm includes a distal end that is rotatable with respect to an axis of the robotic arm. The sealant discharger includes a sealant outlet configured to discharge sealant while the sealant outlet is at a first point. The sealant discharger is mounted on the distal end such that the first point is located on the axis. The plasma discharger includes a plasma outlet configured to discharge plasma while the plasma outlet is at a second point that is located a distance apart from the axis. The plasma discharger is mounted on the distal end such that the second point is rotatable around the axis.

摘要： A fastener delivery system includes an escapement mechanism configured to control dispensing of associated fasteners located in a column one associated fastener at a time and a rotate and present apparatus operable with the escapement mechanism. The apparatus is configured to rotate between a fastener receiving position and a fastener loading position. In the fastener receiving position the apparatus is adapted to receive each associated fastener released from the escapement mechanism, and in the fastener loading position the apparatus is configured to present each associated fastener to an associated fastener installation device. The escapement mechanism is adjustable in a height direction relative to the apparatus.

摘要： A method and a system for dispensing bolts are provided. The system includes a dispensing cartridge including a dispensing tube and a dispensing section. The dispensing tube includes a first end, a second end, and a passage provided between the first end and the second end. The passage is configured to store a plurality of bolts to be supplied to the dispensing tube through the first end such that the bolts are moved through the passage. An air switch feature is provided on a gripper of the robot to determine the presence and proper placement of a part in a desired receptor location on the workpiece. The air switch feature is used to detect whether or not a particular part, such as a bolt or other part being inserted by the robot, has been properly gripped by the gripper, and whether the part has been properly placed in the desired position.
