Abstract: Systems are provided for modification of display units. The system comprises a display unit that includes a touchscreen configured to display a graphical user interface thereon and detect user physical interaction therewith and a bezel surrounding edges of the touchscreen. The bezel includes a modular frame having a connection system thereon. The system also includes one or more bezel trim pieces configured to releasably couple to the modular frame of the bezel via the connection system thereon.

Abstract: Systems and methods providing an actionable cockpit in an aircraft. The actionable cockpit is a flight control system/method that includes a human machine interface (HMI) in the cockpit of the aircraft. The actionable cockpit is configured to effectively convert one or more non-interactive charts/pages and non-interactive windows and webpages displayed by pilots into interactive versions of themselves, and, to respond to pilot selections on the interactive versions by transferring selected information seamlessly between the multiple sources/applications. Additionally, embodiments of the actionable cockpit can map the pilot selections to an intended concept or target avionic system, suggest possible follow up actions related to the concept, and automatically begin an action when it is selected.

Abstract: Systems and methods for displaying and controlling a remotely executed application on a display of a vehicle are disclosed. A method may include: receiving, by one or more processors, one or more video signals from one or more video sources onboard the vehicle; receiving, by the one or more processors, at a client module, a video signal including an image or display of the application executing on a remote server through a network; combining, by the one or more processors, via a video router, the received one or more video signals from the one or more video sources onboard the vehicle and the video signal including the image or display of the application executing on the remote server; and selectively displaying, by the one or more processors, on a display of the vehicle, the video signal including the image or display of the application executing on the remote server.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for managing a minimum equipment list (MEL) for an aircraft. The method comprises first generating a MEL that is specific to the aircraft. Next, the performance parameters of the aircraft are monitored. MEL faults are detected by continually comparing the performance to the MEL during operations of the aircraft. A MEL network is notified of the detected MEL faults. The MEL network includes parties affected by the detected MEL faults.
