摘要: Disclosed are methods, systems, and non-transitory computer-readable medium for automatic time keeping of an electronic checklist. One method may include: receiving a user and/or system input associated with a graphical user interface (GUI) of an electronic checklist; determining whether the user and/or system input triggers a timer event; in response to determining that the user and/or system input triggers the timer event, determining whether the timer event is a first type of timer event or a second type of timer event; in response to determining that the timer event is the first type of timer event, performing a first timer process; and in response to determining that the timer event is the second type of timer event, performing a second timer process.

摘要: Cockpit display systems and methods are provided for generating energy management symbology on cockpit displays, which aid pilot decision-making when evaluating and executing direct approaches. In an embodiment, the cockpit display system includes a cockpit display device on which a first cockpit display, such as a vertical situation display or a horizontal navigation display, is generated. A controller is operably coupled to the cockpit display device and configured to: (i) identify a direct approach (DA) path to a configuration point located over a destination airfield; (ii) calculate a first DA energy estimate for the aircraft to fly the DA path under engine idle conditions and arrive at the configuration point with an airspeed less than a configuration airspeed; and (iii) generate symbology on the first cockpit display indicative of the first DA energy estimate.

One method involves identifying one or more input query parameters, obtaining current status information for the vehicle, identifying one or more performance constraints for the vehicle, and determining a capability envelope for the vehicle for satisfying the one or more input query parameters for the prospective action based at least in part on the current status information and the one or more performance constraints. The capability envelope includes a plurality of potential trajectories for the vehicle different from a reference trajectory for the vehicle. The method provides graphical indicia of the one or more input query parameters and the capability envelope with respect to the reference trajectory on a navigational map display.

摘要: A flight deck system for providing task management assistance in managing the flight path to the flight crew is provided. The system is configured to: mine flight plan data for a current flight plan, navigational data, and vertical situation display (VSD) data; obtain notification data items originating from onboard avionics systems and systems external to the aircraft that indicate upcoming conditions that will affect the current flight plan; automatically analyze the mined flight plan data and the notification data items to identify a sensed deviation condition; automatically identify an aircraft-related deviation condition from an aircraft failure event; receive flight crew notification of a non-sensed deviation condition; automatically generate a plurality of flight plan deviation options to accommodate a sensed deviation condition, an aircraft-related deviation condition, or a non-sensed deviation condition; and present graphical elements representative of the flight plan deviation options to the flight crew on an integrated interactive graphical user interface.

The method includes: receiving, by a controller circuit, weather data, aircraft state data, and aircraft system status data; identifying a weather phenomenon that impacts the FP and creating an information structure for the weather phenomenon, the information structure including at least a type, a subtype, a severity, a start of impact and an end of impact. The method also includes presenting a weather event indicator overlaid on the mission timeline to indicate the weather phenomenon. The rendering of the weather event indicator on the mission timeline additionally depicts on the mission timeline: a start, an end, and duration of the weather event.
