A method for facilitating equipment transactions through an equipment online marketplace platform is disclosed. The method may include: hosting the platform through a network such that users can access the platform through the network; verifying identities of new users of the platform to generate verified users; enabling verified users to create listings for equipment on the platform; when a verified user creates a listing, determining whether the verified user has access to the equipment in the listing by requiring the user to upload one or more images or documents of the equipment through the platform; generating the verified user's listing on the platform when the verified user is determined to have access to the equipment; and displaying the generated listing on the platform such that other verified users can view the posted listing and conduct electronic transactions involving the equipment in the listing through the platform.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus are provided for generating aircraft cabin control commands from verbal speech onboard an aircraft. An audio command supplied to an audio input device is processed. Each word of the processed audio command is compared to words stored in a vocabulary map to determine a word type of each word. Each determined word type is processed to determine if an intent of the audio command is discernable. If the intent is discernable, an aircraft cabin control command is generated based on the discerned intent. If a partial intent is discernable, feedback is generated.

Methods and apparatus are provided for traffic prioritization of surrounding air traffic for display onboard an aircraft. The apparatus includes a traffic data source configured to supply surrounding traffic data. The apparatus includes a traffic control module coupled to receive user selection data from the user input device and the surrounding traffic data. The traffic control module can be configured to determine a prioritization zone for prioritizing the surrounding air traffic to identify air traffic preceding the aircraft based on the user selection data, the range and the vertical speed of the surrounding air traffic, and set first traffic data that includes the surrounding air traffic within the prioritization zone listed by priority and second traffic data that includes the surrounding air traffic outside of the prioritization zone listed in received sequence. The apparatus displays a graphical user interface that includes the first traffic and the second traffic data.
Abstract:
Methods and systems are provided for assisting operation of a vehicle by intelligently prioritizing messages relevant to a route for the vehicle. One method involves analyzing textual content of the message to automatically identify values for a plurality of fields of information specified by the message and obtaining current values for one or more of those fields from one or more data sources associated with the vehicle. In response to identifying a difference between a specified value and the corresponding current value for a field of information, the method automatically assigns a priority level to the message based at least in part on the difference and provides graphical indicia of the priority level assigned to the message and the specified value for the field.

A method for verifying an identity of a new user of an equipment online marketplace platform is disclosed. The method may include: receiving a request from a new user to join an equipment online marketplace network to trade equipment through the equipment online marketplace platform; broadcasting a message to existing users to verify and endorse an identity of the new user to allow the new user to join the equipment online marketplace network to trade equipment through the equipment online marketplace platform; receiving endorsements of the identity of the new user from the existing users; if the identity of the new user is endorsed by a threshold number of existing users, permitting the new user to join the equipment online marketplace network and trade equipment through the equipment online marketplace platform; and storing the identity of the new user as a blockchain entry in a shared ledger.

A method and system for implementing a blockchain network for distributing at least maintenance information related to an aircraft service between a plurality of trusted agents including: executing permissions by each of the trusted agents to participate in the blockchain network to interconnect amongst each other to perform a series of actions of with the blockchain network; and orchestrating a maintenance workflow in the blockchain network to provide functions in the blockchain network wherein the maintenance workflow further includes: inputting data for a current activity related to the aircraft service, retrieving a maintenance procedure for the current activity from a maintenance store of procedures, creating a current maintenance work order based on a retrieved maintenance procedure; identifying a trusted agent to inspect maintenance service from the current maintenance work order, and validating by the trusted agent a satisfactory completion of the current maintenance work order.

An aircraft system for an own-ship aircraft includes an ADS-B unit configured to receive ADS-B messages with flight information from other aircraft over a plurality of time periods, the other aircraft including a first aircraft. The system further includes a database configured to store at least a portion of the flight information associated with the other aircraft over the plurality of time periods. The system further includes a processing unit configured to compare the flight information for a current time period to the flight information for a previous time period to identify missing flight information from the current time period relative to the previous time period, the missing flight information including the flight information associated with the first aircraft, and initiate an annunciation to an operator of the own-ship aircraft based on the missing flight information associated with the first aircraft.
Abstract:
A system and method capable of responding to an audible traffic alert by visually depicting the identified neighboring aircraft traffic on the onboard display is presented. The system and method employ speech recognition in order to minimize the visual and manual cognitive workload associated with responding to a traffic alert. The system and method maximize the pilot's hands-on control of the host aircraft.

A system and method for recognizing speech on board an aircraft that compensates for different regional dialects over an area comprised of at least first and second distinct geographical regions, comprises analyzing speech in the first distinct geographical region using speech data characteristics representative of speech in the first distinct geographical region, detecting a change in position from the first distinct geographical region to the second geographical region, and analyzing speech in the second distinct geographical region using speech data characteristics representative of speech in the second distinct geographical region upon detecting that the aircraft has transitioned from the first distinct geographical region to the second distinct geographical region.
Abstract:
A computer-implemented method for generating a digital identity of equipment on an equipment online marketplace platform is disclosed. The method may include: receiving, by a server executing the equipment online marketplace platform through a network, one or more images or documents containing information of the equipment from a user accessing the equipment online marketplace platform on a user device through the network; extracting, by the server, from the images or documents of the equipment information identifying the equipment; and generating, by the server, a blockchain entry for the equipment in a shared ledger, the blockchain entry containing the information identifying the equipment.
