    Abstract: A first sensing coordinator in a radio access network may communicate a first signal with a second sensing coordinator through an interface link. The first sensing coordinator may include a sensing protocol layer, and may communicate the first signal through the interface link using the sensing protocol. Similarly, a second sensing coordinator may communicate a first signal with a first sensing coordinator in a radio access network through an interface link, with the second sensing coordinator including a sensing protocol layer and communicating the first signal through the interface link using the sensing protocol. A sensing device or apparatus may access an interface link through a radio access network and communicate a first signal, including a sensing configuration or sensing data, with a sensing coordinator that has a sensing protocol layer.     Abstract: Some embodiments of the present disclosure provide proactive beam failure recovery initiation. The proactive initiation may occur at the transmit receive point or at the user equipment. Beam failure, which leads to the beam failure recovery initiation may be proactively detected using sensing or artificial intelligence. A part of any beam failure recovery process is new beam identification. Such new beam identification may be carried out in a traditional manner, using reference signal beam measurement and training. Alternatively, new beam identification may be carried out in a proactive manner, using sensing or artificial intelligence. When indicating a direction for the new beam, a coordinate system may be used. The indicating may reference an absolute beam direction or a differential beam direction by using the coordinate system.

    Abstract: Some embodiments of the present disclosure provide beam indication solutions. A first solution relates to absolute beam indication and a second solution relates to differential beam indication. Through, for example, information determined using sensing, these beam indication solutions allow for information transfer between transmit receipt point and user equipment to occur on a relatively narrow beam. By reducing scanning, a solution based on beam indication aspects of the present application reduce overhead and, consequently, reduce latency. Another benefit of a narrow beam is improved spectral efficiency. The sensing may allow for a relationship between a beam and an external environment to be established. The relationship allows for a beam to be indicated in a direct and agile manner.
