    Abstract: This application relates to the field of wireless communication, in particular, to a beacon frame transmission method in an EMLSR mode, and is applied to a wireless local area network supporting the 802.11be standard. A TXOP holder sends a first frame before a first delay prior to a next TBTT, where the first frame indicates TXOP termination on a first link. The first delay is used by an EMLSR non-AP MLD to change a spatial stream on a second link to a state supporting beacon frame reception on the second link. The non-AP MLD changes, within the first delay after the TXOP termination on the first link, a spatial stream on the second link to supporting successful beacon frame reception on the second link, and receives a beacon frame by using a spatial stream currently supported on the second link at the next TBTT.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide channel bandwidth configuration methods, devices, and computer readable storage media. An example method includes generating and sending an extremely high throughput (EHT) operation element. The EHT operation element includes a channel bandwidth field, a first channel center frequency field, and a second channel center frequency field. The channel bandwidth field indicates channel bandwidth information of a basic service set (BSS). The first channel center frequency field and the second channel center frequency field indicate channel location information of the BSS. The bandwidth information indicates a channel bandwidth in a plurality of channel bandwidths supported by a terminal. This application can be applied, for example, to a Wi-Fi system that supports the 802.11 standard, such as, the 802.11be standard.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a channel sounding method and apparatus, and relate to the communication field. The method includes: A station STA receives channel sounding frames sent by a plurality of access points APs; the STA performs channel sounding based on the channel sounding frames to obtain channel state information of each AP; and the STA sends a channel measurement report frame, where the channel measurement report frame includes channel state information of some of the plurality of APs and identifiers of the some APs, and the channel measurement report frame is further used to indicate that the some APs are selected to participate in coordinated transmission. That the channel measurement report frame is used to indicate that an AP is selected to participate in coordinated transmission can not only feedback channel state information but also reduce signaling overheads.

In an example, a value of a specific element of a first access point (AP) (or a second AP) is reused in a management frame, to indicate specific elements of a plurality of APs in a multiple basic service set identifier (BSSID) set to which the first AP (or the second AP) belongs. The management frame does not need to carry a plurality of same specific elements in the multiple BSSID set. The described techniques can be applied to, for example, a wireless local area network system supporting IEEE 802.11ax next-generation Wi-Fi protocols, for example, 802.11 series protocols such as the 802.11be or the EHT.
