Abstract: This application relates to the communication field, and in particular, to a communication method and apparatus applicable to a multi-link device. The approach generates, by a first access point (AP) of a first access point multi-link device (AP MLD), first information that indicates whether a key basic service set (BSS) parameter corresponding to at least one AP of the first AP MLD changes. In turn, the first AP sends the first information to a first station multi-link device (STA MLD).

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the field of wireless communication, is applied to a wireless local area network supporting the 802.11 series standards, for example, the 802.11be (EHT) standard, and particularly relates to an information indication method for a P2P link and a related apparatus. The method includes: A STA/non-AP MLD sends a QoS characteristics element to an AP/AP MLD, where the QoS characteristics element carries first indication information indicating a physical layer rate of a P2P link, and a direction subfield in the QoS characteristics element indicates that a data direction is the P2P link. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, an AP side may reuse uplink and downlink time allocation algorithms.

Abstract: This application relates to a communication method, a communication device, and a computer-readable storage medium. In the communication method, a second device receives a third protocol data unit from a first device. The third protocol data unit includes a second frame, and the second frame indicates that a first time period in a transmission opportunity of the first device is allocated for data transmission of the second device. The second device transmits a fourth protocol data unit to a third device within the first time period. A duration field in the fourth protocol data unit is set, so that a basic network allocation vector associated with the fourth device is 0 when the first time period ends. In this way, the fourth device can respond to triggering, thereby improving system efficiency.

Abstract: This application provides a communication method and a communication apparatus. The method includes: A sending device sends a first physical layer protocol data unit PPDU over a first link, where the first PPDU carries a trigger frame. The sending device sends a second PPDU over a second link, where the second PPDU carries a second trigger frame; and an absolute value of a time difference between an end time of sending the first PPDU and an end time of sending the second PPDU is less than or equal to a first duration, and the first duration is related to a state turnaround time in a short interframe space (SIFS) time.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a channel access method and a channel access apparatus. In an example method, a first node obtains network status information in a target period. The network status information includes a first time segment and a second time segment. The first node inputs the network status information into a target neural network, to obtain a first prediction value and a second prediction value. The first node sends a to-be-sent packet to a second node through the shared channel in response to determining that the first prediction value is greater than the second prediction value.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a method for multi-access point AP coordination and a related apparatus. The method in the embodiments of this application includes: generating, by a first access point AP, a first radio frame, where the first radio frame includes indication information used to indicate transmission duration of a second radio frame sent by a second access point AP; sending, by the first access point AP, the first radio frame to the second access point AP; and in a sending period of the second radio frame, sending, by the first access point AP, a third radio frame to a first station STA associated with the first access point AP.

Abstract: This application provides communication methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable storage media. In an example, a value of a specific element of a first access point (AP) (or a second AP) is reused in a management frame, to indicate specific elements of a plurality of APs in a multiple basic service set identifier (BSSID) set to which the first AP (or the second AP) belongs. The management frame does not need to carry a plurality of same specific elements in the multiple BSSID set. The described techniques can be applied to, for example, a wireless local area network system supporting IEEE 802.11ax next-generation Wi-Fi protocols, for example, 802.11 series protocols such as the 802.11be or the EHT.

Abstract: A station (STA)-side data acknowledgment apparatus includes a transceiver configured to send a data frame and send an acknowledgment request, and a processor configured to control the transceiver to send the acknowledgment request after a duration from an end of sending the data frame. The duration is greater than or equal to a transmission delay on a backhaul link between access points (APs). The acknowledgment request is an acknowledgment request for the data frame.

Abstract: A negotiation method for an operating mode, an initiator, a receiver, a chip system, a computer-readable storage medium, and a functional entity are disclosed. In operating mode (OM) negotiation, the initiator transmits an operating mode indication (OMI) to the responder. The OMI includes at least either of channel width indication information and space-time stream number indication information. A capability range of a channel width indicated by the channel width indication information is greater than 160 MHz. A capability range of the number of space-time streams indicated by the space-time stream number indication information is greater than 8. After receiving the OMI, the responder performs transmission with the initiator based on a negotiated OM.
