Abstract: This application discloses a route advertisement method and a related device. To reduce IP address resources and reduce configuration and maintenance costs of a network device, it is not required that all network devices in a network enable an IPV4/IPv6 dual-stack function, and the network device in the network may enable only an IPV4 or IPv6 single-stack function to bear IPv4 and IPv6 services. A route advertisement packet advertised by the network device and used to advertise an IPv4 route can include routing information corresponding to an IPV6 address, or a route advertisement packet used to advertise an IPV6 route can include routing information corresponding to an IPv4 address.

Abstract: A method, a network device, and a system for delivering a message used for RPD are disclosed. In the solution provided in this application, a second network device may deliver a message used for route policy distribution (RPD) to a first network device. The message includes a route policy including a match condition field and an action field. When detecting that route information of a border gateway protocol (BGP) route matches a target feature carried in the match condition field, the first network device may automatically update a route attribute of the BGP route based on a route attribute carried in the action field. The first network device may automatically update the route attribute of the BGP route according to the route policy included in the message delivered by the second network device, and operation and maintenance personnel does not need to perform manual configuration.

Abstract: This application provides a packet forwarding method, a device, a storage medium, and a system. A match condition and a path parameter are carried in a control message, and the path parameter includes an address identifier and a path feature identifier, so that when there are a plurality of forwarding paths between two devices in a network and when a first device receives a packet that meets the match condition in the control message, the packet may be forwarded on a forwarding path corresponding to the path parameter.
