    Abstract: The present invention provides a call processing method and a device. The call processing method includes: receiving, by a customized alerting tone server, a call request sent by a calling terminal, and forwarding the call request to a called terminal; receiving a called terminal ringing message, and playing a customized alerting tone audio stream and a customized alerting tone video stream to the calling terminal; receiving a called terminal message indicating that a called user answers a call, and performing call media resource negotiation and customized alerting tone video resource negotiation with the calling terminal; and stopping playing the customized alerting tone audio stream to the calling terminal, and playing the customized alerting tone video stream to the calling terminal. The customized alerting tone continuous playing solution of the present invention enriches user experience and improves network usage.

    Abstract: A video media playing method includes: A media server receives a call request message from originating UE, where the call request message includes first session description protocol (SDP) information of the originating UE; the media server receives a first response message returned by terminating user equipment (UE); the media server determines, based on the first response message, that the terminating UE does not support a resource reservation mechanism/procedure; the media server sends a second response message to the originating UE, where the second response message includes second SDP information used to respond to the first SDP information; and the media server performs video media negotiation with the originating UE through the resource reservation mechanism/procedure.

    Abstract: Provided are a communication method, apparatus, and system. The communication method includes: A rich media message application server receives a first query request message from a rich media message terminal, where the first query request message includes query information, the query information includes information used to describe a rich media message miniapp needed by a user corresponding to the rich media message terminal, and the rich media message miniapp is a miniapp that uses a rich media message client in the rich media message terminal as a host client. The rich media message application server obtains information about the rich media message miniapp in response to the first query request. The rich media message application server sends a first query response message to the rich media message terminal, where the first query response message includes the information about the rich media message miniapp.
