摘要: Systems, methods, and devices for establishing a context-centric shared-viewing party. A processor in a network server may determine content for shared viewing based on inputs received from a user via a user device, and select a context participant group. Each of the user and participants in the selected group may share a commonality with the other participants in that group. The processor may receive complementary context from at least one or more of the user device or user devices of participants in the selected group. The processor may generate a context stream based on the received contextualized content, and send the context stream to the user device.

摘要: Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, method, and user interface to facilitate augmented reality based communication between multiple users over a network. A first user of a first device is enabled to view a real-world environment that is visible to a second user via a second device by causing display, at the first device, of a live camera feed generated at the second device. The live camera feed comprises images of the real-world environment that is visible to the second user. Input data indicative of a selection by the first user of a virtual content item to apply to the real-world environment that is visible to the second user is received. The first device and second device present media objects overlaid on the real-world environment based on the input data.

摘要: The present disclosure describes techniques for determining whether a communication request is associated with a legitimate communication or spoof communication, prior to establishing the connection. A Parallel Path Caller Verification (PPCV) controller is described that is configured to intercept a communication request from an originating device and generate a proof-of-identity (PoI) message for delivery to the originating device. Upon receipt of a reply message that is responsive to the PoI message, the PPCV controller may determine whether the communication is a legitimate communication. If the communication is determined as legitimate, the PPCV controller may establish a communication based on the communication request.

摘要: A user equipment (UE) may be equipped with multiple subscriber identity modules (SIMS) capable of supporting emergency calls. When an emergency call is detected, the UE may send emergency call requests to a network through the multiple SIMS. The UE may handle the emergency call through whichever SIM that receives the earliest successful response from the network. By utilizing multiple SIMS to establish the emergency call, both reliability and session response time may be enhanced.

摘要: Video-assisted presence detection is used to enhance a user experience in telephony communications. Image data, video data, or both, from a camera are used to determine whether a user is present at their device before a call is transferred to him or her. The video-assisted presence detection can be implemented based on a privacy setting. For example, one implementation allows a system to have partial access to a detector to detect user presence without capturing facial information, and without identifying that person. Another implementation allows the system to have partial access to the detector to detect user presence without having access to a video feed of the detector.

摘要: A method comprising obtaining a phone number of a mobile device used to make an emergency call through a first connection. The method also can include transmitting a uniform resource locator (URL) link to the mobile device through a second connection based on the phone number. The second connection is different from the first connection. The URL link enables a user of the mobile device to establish a WebRTC (Web Real-Time Communication) session through a web browser on the mobile device. The method additionally can include receiving a real-time video stream from the mobile device through the WebRTC session. The method further can include sending the real-time video stream to be displayed on a screen of a recipient. The real-time video stream is associated with an identifier for the mobile device. Other embodiments are described.
