Abstract: Embodiments of an optical amplification apparatus are disclosed which include a first optical amplifier, a second optical amplifier, and a mode exchanger. The first optical amplifier is connected to an input port of the mode exchanger, and the second optical amplifier is connected to an output port of the mode exchanger. The first optical amplifier is configured to amplify optical signals carried in a plurality of transmission modes of a few-mode fiber, the plurality of transmission modes of the few-mode fiber may be grouped into N groups, each group includes two transmission modes, and N is a positive integer greater than or equal to 1. The mode exchanger is configured to exchange the two transmission modes carrying optical signals in each group. The second optical amplifier is configured to amplify the optical signals that are carried in the two transmission modes in each group and whose modes are exchanged.

Abstract: A communication system is provided. The communication system may include few mode fibers of at least two spans and a mode converter. The few mode fiber is configured to transmit M received mode groups, where group delays of the M mode groups during transmission in the few mode fiber are symmetrically distributed about a center. The mode converter is configured to: receive the M mode groups from the few mode fiber, perform mode group exchange between a first mode group and a second mode group in the M mode groups to obtain M exchanged mode groups, where a group delay of the first mode group and a group delay of the second mode group are symmetric about the center.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a data packet processing method, a service node, and a delivery node, to improve the data packet processing efficiency. A second service node receives a first uplink data packet sent by a first service node. The second service node performs service processing on the first uplink data packet to obtain a second uplink data packet. When the second service node determines, according to service node information, that the second service node is the last service node in an uplink direction of a service chain, the second service node deletes the service node information from the second uplink data packet, to obtain a third uplink data packet, and sends the third uplink data packet to a second delivery node, where the second delivery node is an uplink egress delivery node of the service chain.

Abstract: This application relates to the communications field, and in particular, to a method for triggering terminal roaming by an access point (AP) and an access point. In the method, a first AP sends, by using a first channel, a unicast channel switching message to a first terminal associated with the first AP, where the unicast channel switching message is used to instruct the first terminal to switch from the first channel to a second channel, a receiver address of the unicast channel switching message is an address of the first terminal, the first channel is an operating channel of the first AP, and the second channel and the first channel are different; and retains the first channel as the operating channel of the first AP after the unicast channel switching message is sent. According to the method, a process of associating with a new AP can be simplified.
