Abstract: A packet forwarding method. In this method, a forwarding node receives a packet, obtains a target service resource status advertised by each service node in a plurality of service nodes, selects a target service node from the plurality of service nodes based on the target service resource status advertised by the service node, and forwards the packet to the target service node. In other words, the forwarding node can sense a service resource status advertised by the service node, and the service resource status can indicate a resource usage status of a service resource managed by the service node. An actual processing capability of the service node can be sensed based on the resource usage status.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide example resource allocation methods. One example method includes determining, by a first node, a hash value corresponding to a first cluster. The first node can establish an association relationship between the first cluster and a target second cluster, where the target second cluster is allowed to apply for a resource from the first cluster.

Abstract: A method for configuring performance measurement indication information and a related device. The method includes: a control node determines performance measurement indication information and sends a first advertisement packet in the communication network based on the BGP, where the first advertisement packet carries the performance measurement indication information, so that a plurality of forwarding nodes configure the performance measurement indication information on the plurality of forwarding nodes. In this way, when a data flow on which performance measurement is to be performed is transmitted between a plurality of different ASs, each forwarding node in the different ASs may obtain the performance measurement indication information from the first advertisement packet.
