Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a user equipment that includes a communication interface configured to perform communication with one or more nearby UEs using one or more of a plurality of resources in a cellular communication network, and processing circuitry configured to operate the UE in a first mode and in a second mode. The first mode is a scheduled resource allocation mode, and the second mode is an autonomous resource selection mode or an idle mode.
