Abstract: The present disclosure relates to information processing methods, positioning chips, and mobile terminals. One example method includes receiving, by a positioning chip, control information sent by a main chip, where the positioning chip and the main chip are disposed in a same mobile terminal, and the control information includes a preset location, obtaining a current location based on the control information, determining whether the current location matches the preset location, and when the current location matches the preset location, sending, by the positioning chip, a command to the main chip, where the command instructs the main chip to perform a preset operation.
